NECA: Predator Movie Franchise Figures

Only reason I ask about the bootlegs is because I want to use a few for parts. My friend wanted to buy some of the old bootleg comic style TMNT figures so I could paint them in the B&W colours scheme for him, and I saw several reviews that said they were actually superior to NECA's official figures. Was just curious about how well the preds held up.

I wonder why NECA changed the gauntlet hinge on the Ultimate from the prototype. Seems like it would have been less likely to have these breakage issues.

People keep asking on twitter if NECA will make the other P1 soldiers, Harrigan etc and the answer is always the same - 'no likeness rights'.

Why not rephrase the question - ''if you could obtain the likeness rights would you make these characters''.

I'll be getting the demon hunter, Gort and the jungle disguise Dutch since I missed out on that one for sure - maybe 1 more Dutch for a custom. Excited for this wave and the ultimate jungle hunter!! I love the anniversary years on my favs - Aliens last year now predator this year.

The GORT pic above looks like a 1/4 scale, but I thought these were all going to be 7".

I'd love a 1/4 "demon", but I'll settle for a 7" version too.

Good point. So what about 1:4 Returns Batman? I mean you've just made Penguin and Catwoman. Why hold off on just one more figure.

Yup, makes no sense. Coulda been the first company to actually finish the line with the three key characters but nope. Batman (or a Batman rather) has been like the staple 1/4 figure of their Toy Fair shows consecutively since 2013.

But hey, atleast we're getting a NECA Gal Gadot Wonder Woman! Whose limbs and joints will probably be thinner than an xenomorph and endoskeleton.


Since Batman is out of the picture, I hope they have some Terminator goodness, atleast John Connor or something.

Watch the Terminator presence at Toyfair be that Rosebox T-800, the 1:4 scale figure and a lineup of the boxes of the Ultimates up to present. Obviously I'd love to be wrong. If we see John I will end any future complaint about NECA with ''but then again, they made John Connor, NECA rule''

...don't know if you realize this but doing 1/4 figures is more expensive and they have to spread out and choose what to do in scale. Or maybe you're just trolling
