I don’t see any Tech Noir, Terminator figures, Predator figures, Gremlins or Rocky figures because Canadian TRU don’t carry NECA!!!

I saw the Rocky figures at TRU today.

IMO they all look pretty bad, poor sculpts and crappy paint. While the bodies were junk on the Jakks figures, the head sculpts were bang on for a lot of the characters.

I picked up BD Apollo Creed a few weeks back, definitely the best figure so far in the line, i'm saving him for a future Drago beat down and passing on the rest of series 1.

I'm sure you'll find the clean ones warming shelves in stores for months, he's just not the most marketable character.

It will be warming shelves 'cause the facial likeness sucks. I'm amazed at how people on this site nitpick over some of the silliest things but give a pass to Neca and the Rocky/Stallone likeness.

These are the first Neca figures ive ever owned,so i don't know much about their work.Have they ever done anything out of fabric or is everything sculpted?

They use fabric but only when it seems best. Scream Ghostface has cloth skirt and arm flaps for leg articulation and natural hang from the arms, but again, it seems to be a choice I'm design and only if really necessary, robes for Rocky figures would be seen unnecessary to them I'm sure.

With the first series done and very close to Series 2 without robes i guess it's pointless to even bother shooting them a mail asking about the Robe situation.

If you're willing to burn off 30-50$ for each of the 2 and 3 pack,plus Rocky 1 and 2,you have robes right there and im crazy enough to do it.My only concern would be the size,at least the Rocky 1 robe is baggy enough allready for the Jakks one,and Neca is smaller so.

I don't have any of my Jakks figs loose at the moment,but if anyone does...I would love to see how the Robes look on the Neca Rocky.

Does anyone have the 1 of 50 Rocky in baggie, factory error Adrian from series 4, blue trunks Clubber from Rocky 3 title fight ring box, or (dare I ask!), Sico the Robot or James Brown? I'm willing to pay $$$$ should anyone feel the time is right to cash in their rare figures! I'm also looking for some of the UK exclusives - Apollo from series 4 (not Best Of), and the figures/belt box set. Any leads much appreciated. Thanks!

I have that Rocky 3 vs Clubber with the kids size belt and gloves.Not selling though.
I had the 1 of 50 Statue and Apollo EX but sold them,what was special about Apollo anyway,i can't remember.
Sico and Blue Clubber were only prototypes,never got into production so some lucky SOB out there have those 2.
I remember asking Jakks what it would take to get one of their prototypes,at the time i wanted the Rocky IV training gear from them.They said they have had offers of 700$ and up but they didn't sell.Maybe later on someone managed to grab those from jakks,who knows.
Your best chance would to contact Jakks directly.

Thanks for your message. I wrote to Jakks a while ago and never got a reply. I guess they receive lots of enquiries about prototypes. I heard on the grapevine that a James Brown figure just made it past the prototype stage and was about to go into full production when James Brown died, so the figure was never released. As for Sico and the blue trunks Clubber, I remember seeing photos on rockyfigs.com, and would be fascinated to know who got them!!

Oh man, I totally forgot about the Sico robot proto. I'd love to own that, I even have the Happy birthday pauly tune as a ringtone. Maybe Neca can be convinced to do one as a con exclusive or something.

Anybody know when Neca Rocky series II is going to be released? I haven't seen these up for preorder yet. You would that series II would be up for preorder by now. I hope the line wasn't canceled because of poor sales for series 1.

I see a seller on Ebay in China has series II up for preorder, he's asking $36.99 a piece, so I guess these should be up all over by next week.
