the MONO box-set it pretty much sold out everywhere at this point. I got an order in at MTV Shop. Still unsure what ones I want, but, played it safe and ordered. Can still cancel if I want.
Is it crazy to want both? MONO and STEREO?!
I have heard both sets have their pros and cons. But, have read some rave reviews on the MONO set.

I tried ordering it through a couple of different sites but I then when I get the conformation email, it says it sold out.
I tried calling Best Buy in my neighboring town and the girl at the service desk didn't know ^^^^ from apple butter. I have no idea if the mono box will even hit the stores and she said she didn't know. She also said that the mono set wasn't available until the 15th but I know that's the Japanese import. UGH!

I decided I will order by year. So I have Please Please and With The Beatles coming on September 9, then when I get paid on the 20th I'll get the 1964 albums, then Oct 5 will be 1965, etc..... I hope the enahanced CD's are all still available. If not I may have to rely on my Beach Boys source for a copy of the DVD.

You don't have to worry about getting the stereo set because it will be available. Maybe you can ask Santa for it.

Actually the Stereo boxset and the first run of CD's will only be the "Enhanced" versions with the DVD documentary. After that, they will be released without the documantaries and back to "regular" cds...
I have decided I am buying both. I got my Stereo boxset coming from FYE and I found the MONO available at MTV shop.
I like the sound of MONO on alot of the songs and STEREO on alot of them. I know I wouldn't be happy with just one or the other. So, I'll just get both and have them and enjoy them forever.

I preordered my stereo set through Best Buy but I got my mono set through a independant record store. They sent me a notice saying they got my order so I sure hope that means I'll be getting it. The store is called Magnolia Thunderpussy!
I hope your MONO set arrives a-OK Ween. I just got done reading that people who ordered through Amazon are now being told they may or may not receive their order.
People are going crazy, and then you also have the eBay sellers eating it with a spoon.
Once mine arrives (hopefully soon, and intact) it will never leave me.
These two boxsets are grails for me. I'm so glad I decided to go for both.

I was reading about that too alittle while back that sometimes on limited items Amazon sometimes sells more units than they actually have. That would really stink if you figured you're going to get something then being told you weren't. Then you have to scramble to get it. I was looking at the prices eBay sellers are getting!
