Statue New LOTR Maquette Line Announced!

Does anyone think that we will see a Gollum and Galadriel in this new maquette line? What about Sauramon? I am thinking of getting into this line and getting Gandalf, Aragorn and Legolas. Also, the new Ringwraith maquette when he is released.

If the line is as strong as SS say it is, then you can be sure we will get those three and many more ...if not then not.

In other words, if the line sells well, then SS will continue to make them ...if it doesn't then they won't!

Yes, I have no doubts assuming this line goes for as long as we think it will. I'd have to double check but I believe they've mentioned Saruman already. No announcement yet on the Witchking just yet but he'll probably be the next one.

Yes, but that was the WitchKing. Find the thread and look at the screen cap. You can see that its the WK by the sword he's holding.

Oh, ok. I get what you're saying now. I thought you meant there had been no sneak/mention of the Witch King. You just meant no official preview, no?

@TheJosh . . . so, I'm seriously considering skipping the PF line just to go with some of the pieces from this new line. What are your thoughts? I was really thinking of ordering the EX Gandalf today, and following with Aragorn and Legolas. Of course, the Witch King would be a must too.

Do you have the ones that have been released so far?

I have the two released so far and they are spectacular, more so in person than any images can portray. If the exclusives are available to you, and you want to jump into the line, I would encourage you to do so. I especially like this representation of Gandalf. Everyone has gushed over Strider/Aragorn, but for me, the "ripped with power" Gandalf is my favorite so far. Then again the Boromir which preordered just last month at San Diego Comic-Con is a stunner. Gimli is amazing as well...

I would go with these over the PF because to me they're as good really and take up less space. These statues are as detailed as any LOTR statue you'll find and as impressive as any LOTR statue you'll find. What I'm saying is these are so worth getting into its not even funny. I love them.

Yeah, I have Aragorn and Gandalf both along with everything else on order. Like Fury said seeing the rest at comic-con last month was a jaw dropper and my favorite display part at comic-con.

He's been moving around quite a bit. I just checked the SS website and he is back listed as 4th quarter 2011, but previously he had been bumped clean into 1st quarter 2012. At any rate, he is already late...

Thats a good one to start with. The Gandalf is quite awesome. Well, he was originally supposed to come out this month, but has been pushed back until the first quarter of next year. So it has a decent chance of converting.

Thats cool at least he's got a chance to get out this year then. I hadn't checked in a bit so maybe Gimli will also make the trek forward.

Edit: Looking around appears the Troll has been moved to Q2 of next year. So they're spreading things out it appears instead of what looked like major rush of LOTR items in Q1.

Yeah, we were typing at the same time. Depending on when in Q4 he could be for me if its October. Either way glad that he moved back up waiting for a LOTR item kind of sucks.

If you're into the stuff Weta is putting out don't forget the amazing Rivendell is Q4 2011 and Orthanc is Q1 2012.
