So, I placed my order today for my very first LOTR statue, the Exclusive Gandalf the Grey Maquette! I'm so excited to see him in person, and hopefully I love him enough to go on to get Aragorn, Legolas, etc.

I believe they're 1:6th but the product page Arwen said 1:5th.

I got the regular (theatrical) versions on Blu Ray last year, but I just have to have the Extended Editions.

Now to find a good deal. I'm seeing B&N has it for $71.99, Amazon for $76 and Overstock for $74. Anyone know of anywhere else that has a better price?

I've got every version DVD or Blu they've done. Its kind of dumb I suppose but this is the best series of movies I've ever seen so I don't mind at all.

Amazon is where I got mine when they came out but I've got prime (free shipping).

I had the theatrical DVDs but gave them to my friend when I got the Blu Ray set. I also still have the EE on DVD, but will probably do away with those when I get the Blu Ray.

What is Prime?

For $80 you get free 2 day shipping and release date delivery. I've had it for a while now. Its totally worth it.

now you also get tons of tv shows / older movies free similar to netflix if you sign up for prime.

it's awesome, you can order whatever you want without worrying out shipping and it gets send using 2day shipping only. And if you need something NOW it's only $4 per item to send next day air which usually cost $20+

That sounds like a pretty good deal. I just started ordering through Amazon not too long ago, but I have ordered 3 things in the last month, so it may be worth it.

Don't most orders over 25 dollars ship for free anyway? Are there classes of items (that I clearly do not buy) that don't qualify for super saver shipping?
