Hey everyone, I have a never before opened HT Vito figure and was looking on ebay and saw the very high prices people are charging for this figure. Seems a bit much. Is this figure really demanding that much - I mean $3000+?

w/ ebay there is listed price and then actual sold prices.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Those prices are laughable. I was considering putting it up for $550-600. Though E-bay in and of itself is sketchy, I've been scammed before and just seems they offer no seller protection.

Always have been interested in Hot Toys vs Enterbay Godfather discussion, despite not having either version (missed the boat and prices are ridiculous now).

I've always felt based on photos that there is no comparison - Hot Toys was always miles better - at same time, people saying Enterbay in hand is great, pics don't do justice, etc.

So, just saw these 'in hand' pics of Enterbay head, and for the first time I liked it maybe just a 'little bit' more than HT...

So here are my thoughts the only thing good about Enterbay's is the detail of the sculpt!

The clothing is cheap and terrible the body isn't great either....The pants feel like paper.
The chair is small and under sized

I'm currently looking for 1 though as I'm a godfather collector but honest thoughts and many will agree the only decent thing is the detail of the sculpt.
If you ever have a chance to choose Hot toys all the way!

I upgraded my hot toys with a Yunsil set.

I'm also working on 1:4 Godfather set.....I'm waiting on the clothing head and hands are complete then next is the 1:4 Chair.

IMO The Godfather with the yunsil upgrade is still as good as any figure to this day, the head has stood the test of time.

That's fantastic, I had a chance to get the HT Godfather when it was first released and passed, am still pissed about it lol.

Did it really need a repaint? I remember it being awesome right out of the box?

It was awesome no doubt and groundbreaking at the time but I looked at it recently and realized it wasn’t quite up to snuff with today’s standard. It passes! But godfather has to be best of the best for me.

That's a masterful paint job, Ray! Vito was my first Hot Toy. It still might be my favorite.

I wish they'd tackle other non-super properties (Dirty Harry, Quint, etc.).
