I would guess more. You think the black variant will only have 2500 total? I think they revealed it early to show it won't be one of these small secret variants they are doing. Instead, it'll be full feature release.

I can't see a total of 2500 or more for the variant. The BiB COM only had 1250 pieces I believe. I can see something around those numbers for this black variant PF.

I don't know, I'm sorry but 2500 just doesn't feel very exclusive to me . The fact that it has taken this long to put a number on it is kind of boring as far as collectibility imho. That and the fact that you can still order an ex right now. To many pieces flooding the market. Again just my opinion.

That's the way SSC rolls. They are now a company that wants to saturate the market with as much merch as possible to maximize their profits. Most businesses operate that way. It's all about the a company's bottom line. If you are looking for low editions sizes from a company, SSC isn't going to fill that bill for you. Those days are long gone when it comes to SSC. Sure, they'll give us a few low ES pieces on a rare occasion, but that's certainly not the norm anymore. You'll have to look elsewhere if low edition sizes mean a lot to you.

Very true. If you are patient, you definiteky could pick it up below retail later

I hope edition sizes keep rising as long as they sell in the end SS can keep making more and over time you can find better then retail deals. I see no down side to that but then again I don't buy a statue for the ES I buy the statue for me liking the statue.

Looks nice, maybe a little more blue then I'd like but will still order (this & Wolverine) after SDCC is over.

Once I have both the R&B and Symbiote in front of me I'll decide if I'll keep both or let one go.

I'm not really worried about leaning issues but looking at the hand on the beam makes me think about possible finger damage.

I do understand this about ssc I just can't understand why they can't stay true to collectibility end and put a number on the ex version right away and tbd the regular version. It would keep the collectors happy and the people who try to find a deal on the secondary market happy. I don't by statues for a number but because I like the piece but it is nice to have something that is limited in some degree.
