New Tomb Raider game

got my SE, will put up an unboxing vid tonight. I cant wait to play my first TR game.

First? That's such a bummer!

Especially since this isn't really even classic Lara. You should at least hunt out Legend, Anniversary or Underworld ( which were the last three Tomb Raider games - although there was a downloadable title only after those with 'Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light' which gave a different style of play.)

Legend was the first game from Crystal Dynamics ( all previous were by Core Design ), Anniversary was an updated version of the very first game, and Underworld is a continuation of Legend.

Yeah I know hey, pretty late to the TR party coz I never had playstation back in the day - I was N64 then xbox. This game is looking great though.

Played this for an hour+ last night and couldn't put it down. The environments are really pretty, makes me regret not getting the PC version just to see how good the graphics can be pushed too.

Gameplay wise, you have a leveling system in place. Can use it to upgrade your skill & upgrading your tools as well.

Can't say much about the story cause I've just started but I've a feeling this new tomb raider will be the start of a new legacy.

Yes PC all the way here too. Sorry folks, who can't afford it, or get upset when we get excited about the PC and express it. It's not like I'm saying consoles suck! I'm just saying - my PC is awesome and the graphics and experience blow me away. Sorry. Just how it is, for some games and game types lol


Holy crap this game looks insane!
On ULTIMATE it makes my PC cry lol

IT's the hair effect called TRESSFX (created by AMD I guess).
Super realistic hair effects and movement and individual rendered strands lol
It's a bit buggy and a performance hog. So I am opting to run on High, or Ultra.

Game looks sick on PC. Sorry, yes, but I'm a giddy graphics boy, and PC is tops for that.

As far as the game itself, it's fricken awesome too.
