Next Sovereign Custom Freaks Group Rate Fig?

I'd be all for a Deckard or a Selene.
And Sideshow is now working with Hot Toys on bodies, so I think when they get around to Lurtz they'll ask Hot Toys to whip up a different version of Hot Toy's muscle body for them.
I do think Sideshow will release a Lurtz eventually, but yours look perfect Shawn.

yeah that lurtz is insane. i'd be surprised if a manufactured version could come close. deckard sounds pretty sweet! definitely a popular choice. and one that we are not likely to EVER get from any official companies. can't wait to see what it turns out like, especially with the new harrison ford sculpt shawn mentioned.

How many of you are seriously interested in Chewbacca? I would be willing to do that one. I love a huge challenge, but it's also a huge committment of time just to design it right. If there's enough interest, I'll do it.

As far a fur Chewie, I would think there would be tons of interest once a Proto is made, then I would take it over to the Star Wars Thread.

I'd also be interested in a Chewbacca. What I would like to see is a really good face sculpt, because while I've seen some very nice customs, I always feel that the face looks off.

I'm certainly interested in Chewbacca, but I couldn't say I'm committed to getting one without seeing a proto. I've seen some good customs out there, but none of them have capture the Chewie look that I have burnt into my memory that defines him for m.

Didn't HT announce that Predator 1 was being done for their Predator line? I was expecting this announcement to be made official sometime this year. Maybe it was just the word that HT got the license. I don't know if Dutch and his crew are being done or just the Predator, but a bunch of us in the Aliens/Predator section were dreaming of the possibilities.

I am interested in the Bladerunner custom though, although I'd like to expand that to include a Batty and Pris as well.

I don't know that we have any more of achance of seeing Dutch's crew than Danny Glover and the PD but the speculating has been fun!

HT did make this informal announcement during an interview with Figures.com. They did also say that the P1 license would include humans as well but made no reference who'd include. I'd imagine Arnie's Dutch is a lock probably Weather's Dillon as well since they already have an Apollo Creed figure, I think a Ventura Blain is a great possibility too. Past that I think will depend on the license's strength.

Deckard would be a MUST own for me, as would any other Blade Runner figs you would make... I've been long desiring figures of those characters and haven't the clothing skills that you have..

Gladiator and Selene would be amazing as well. I just got your 89 Batman today and man O man... AMAZING.

You do remember that my INDY was one of Shawn's first, made way back in 2001 I believe for Chris King. The material Shawn used even way back then is far above anything today in terms of exactness and quality. As you said, the whip, the pants, the hat, the jacket, everything is simply amazing. So advanced for the time. And I'm sure it's even better now.
