Hey, guys. I don't know if any of these ideas would interest, but here they are. Just a list of stuff I've always wanted to make or thought about making.

Lara Croft
Star Wars: Clone Wars (animated)
Conan
I'd love to see those!! Since you threw in some video game characters, I suggest Altair from Assassin's Creed and Nathan Drake from Uncharted: Drake's fortune.

Great news about Deckard and Selene, can't wait to see those!! :rock

I'm in full Blade Runner mode at the moment after getting the Final Cut for Xmas so I have to vote for Rick (I'm not a replicant :lol) Deckard :rock

Hang in there, guys. "V" is coming:D I just didn't list it with the other stuff because it's a project I already had well underway. I'm hammering out some details on him, a few things I didn't like about my prototype. And, yes there will be plenty of pics of Deckard before I expect anyone to jump on board. Same with Selene.

As for my earlier list, I know some of those were done. Craig's Bond is out there but they're all customs and none I've seen are particularly good. I know SS is doing Shaun of the Dead. I don't know what the final figure looks like, but if it has that headsculpt that used to appear in the banner at the top of this board I think it can be safely redone:monkey3 Same for some of the others. You often see the same character done by several companies. They must all be getting a slice of the pie or they wouldn't keep doing it. If another artist or company did a figure doesn't matter to me, so long as I think I can do it better or at least bring something new to the table. Honestly, I think I've seen customs done of nearly everything suggested so far including Maximus and Marty McFly!

With the Predator and Aliens guys, I wasn't talking about doing complete figures. I was only going to do headsculpts. HT already did all the Marines' gear and the Predator guys just wore Military gear. No shortage of that stuff around.

I hope to have some prelim Deckard pics by the weekend, provided I ever get that replacement memory stick:monkey2

I'd love to see what you can do with Shawn! I'd like to have a 'closed mouth' version of him to offset SSC's.

thanks for the updates shawn. really looking forward to deckard. i'm sure it'll be stellar. V too. i'm with the others on chewie - there are some great customs out there but sometimes the face lets it down. i haven't seen shawn's criag bond custom - i'm sure it's amazing. but the best one i've seen so far is darkartist's. that thing is beautiful.

imagine a conan with the muscle body shawn is working on. could be incredible.

Are we gonna poll this or what? I don't need a Deckard and could give two figs about Selene (and I can't believe people liked that movie so much--I thought it was utter dreck on the level of 5th Element/Van Helsing).

I'd love me some Marty McFly or Ghostbusters!!!

I've never wanted to bang the hell out of a vampire until watching Underworld. A Selene figure would just honor that. :lol

I'll be sitting out these two as well, but there is a lot in his repetoire that I'm interested in. Although I'm very interested to see how these turn out.

Slade,
I think this was supposed to be a poll, but it seems to have become very informal. Basically, I've just been mentally logging the requests and Deckard and Selene seemed to come out on top.

Who's saying anything about the movie? :monkey5

I guess I'm the only one here who won't support a sucky film or franchise by buying merchandise related to it.

Hence, no Pirates in my collection--and b/c Disney is a giant turd. But, ok, I did have Conehead figures once.:D

And if I'm looking to get my first decent 1/6 chick, I think I rather have a Pris.

i'm pretty sure shawn won't be paying a % of each sold figure to the studio that made underworld - so technically you wouldn't be supporting it. i do agree with you about the movie though. it was entertaining enough, but overall was nothing special. if we're talking female vampires, give me salma hayek from "from dusk till dawn" instead. now that was a hot vampire - and 100% natural too.

I have to admire Slade. I thought I was the only one to routinely and proudly crap on mainstream stuff. Though I DO love the "Pirates" franchise, I won't disagree that Disney is a giant turd.

I do really like Underworld, though. But I didn't really appreciate it until seeing all the DVD bonus stuff. I really admire the fact that they used little to no CGI and it looks far better than most modern movies. I've always really loved werewolves, too. Alot of people think of it as Blade Light. Personally, I hate the Blade franchise:monkey3 Especially the first one. Vampires can walk in the sun if they just dab on a bit of Tropicana?? WOW! Really?? Crap. The second Blade was just thinly disguised retelling of Frankenstein, and the third one just plain sucked. Even most Blade fans agree with that. And who the hell made up the rule that becoming a vampire automatically makes you a black belt? Seriously, whose fault is that?

Sorry for the rant there:eek: I've just spent too many years defending Underworld, I guess.
