I didn't see any thread for 4 Lom. Usually any sneak peeked figure gets its own thread 20 seconds after the reveal.

Ok thanks. I must have missed it. At least it's a sign that they haven't abandoned the line.

So whatever happened to the Max Rebound band? No new thread for that one I'll bet. :lol

Exactly why is it taking so long to make all the other TFA announcements? Seems like they should have almost wrapped up all the major announcements by now. We only have Rey, Finn, BB-8 for the heroes? Very weird.

They should have saved a trooper or two if the reveals were going to dry up after the film came out.

I suppose they were using the same facility to do all the stormtroopers so that's why we've gotten almost all of those already (aside from the riot trooper).

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks it's been oddly slow with the announcements. :impatient:

IrishJedi go out and find out through your "people" if we can expect Hasbro to release Force Awakens figures on vintage style cards. I would have thought that this would have already been a no-brainer what with:

1. All other six films having had vintage cardback releases.

and

2. The whole "retro" theme of TFA from the get go. Even Topps made some vintage style trading cards.

I think HT's been pretty steady with TFA. Between September (Force Friday) and February (five months) HT has released 15 figures:

1. Stormtrooper Squad Leader (MMS316)
2. Stormtrooper (MMS317)
3. Stormtrooper Heavy Gunner (MMS318)
4. Kylo Ren (MMS320)
5. Snowtrooper (MMS321)
6. Snowtrooper Officer (MMS322)
7. TIE Fighter Pilot (MMS324)
8. Flametrooper (MMS326)
9. Captain Phasma (MMS328)
10. Jakku Stormtrooper (MMS333)
11. Stormtrooper Officer (MMS334)
12. Rey (MMS336)
13. BB-8 (part of MMS337 set)
14. Finn (MMS345)
15. Riot Control Stormtrooper aka TR-8R (part of MMS346 set)

Sure, ten of them are troopers but that's still a lot for one movie line in just five months.

With Age of Ultron it took HT 9 months to hit 16 figures.

Too many troopers. They should have had Poe and an unmasked Kylo option teased or up for preorder by now imo, as well as an old Han.

It's been talked about. I know some at LFL were really pushing for it. But for whatever reason Hasbro has balked on it (so far). I agree that is foolish. They make some really frankly bizarre decisions sometimes.

The last I heard was that since Hasbro wasn't so bullish on the idea of bringing back Vintage packaging with TFA figures that someone floated the idea of making them an Exclusive to specific retailer (like the 3.75" Black Series are Exclusive to Walmart). Shortly after I'd heard that I saw rumor on some collecting site that Toys R Us would supposedly be carrying a new line of "Vintage" figures, but then Hasbro publicly denied it. So I have no idea what's going on with that. It seems to be entirely up to Hasbro, and they've clearly been dropping the ball, so who knows.

On the plus side, there are some cool customs out there, like these 2 that I nabbed from some dude on Facebook:

That line of figures is fantastic--got me back into collecting in 2004 with the VOTC series. Would buy a few if they brought them back out. Still have a ton of the OT ones from the last round 2010-2012.
