I wonder if the idea is that when you pose him between the eventual Obi-Wan and Qui Gon PF's that it'll look less like a dance and more like he's glaring at one Jedi in front of him while force-pushing the other one standing behind him.

This is just cool!! I feel like Tom did when the Boba PF was announced!! I can't really put into words how happy I am about this.

You were the first person I thought of when this news broke!!! Maybe one day your Maul and my Fett can hang out together.

And I think that they chose this pose carefully. An Obi-Wan PF could be behind him with Maul's saber deflecting his attack with minimal effort while he focuses his gaze on the Qui-Gon PF. I can see all three working together or on their own. (I hope I'm right.)

Why would it go without saying? We have received some hints that there would be one before too long, and LOTR was on the list of licenses with confirmed Toy Fair announcements. I have very high hopes that a new LOTR PF will be revealed in the next two weeks.

Possibly, they did say they had two Dioramas being worked on. However I think the possibility is high for a LOTR PF.

What kind of Dioramas? Like the old Poly environment line or something to go with the 1:6 figures?

It's 1:8th scale I believe (at least they are going to try to stick to that) and it'll be dioramas. Read the thing on the front page of the website because it has more info.

I agree. In a December thread in the LOTR section, we saw this exchange about the PF line:

Yes, definitely working on a couple! You know, I hear Toy Fair is just around the corner, and who knows what could happen there... I can neither confirm nor deny

So Dusty has confirmed that multiple LOTR PFs are currently in production, and she neither confirmed nor denied that one might be revealed around Toy Fair. But they are DEFINITELY WORKING ON A COUPLE and that's good news to me!

(Knowing how we like to pick Dusty's posts apart looking for clues, could this mean that there will be a PF set of Arwen and Aragorn? They're a couple, right?)

You know, I really think I would. I've never even seen a PF figure since they are sooo far out of my budget range, but I really would try and get one. Faramir has been a real hero of mine for years; I've always tried to emulate his character. I don't know if I'd ever have enough, but I'd try. I wish I could have PF figures, but it's just not possible for me.

Same here - PF too much $$$. Jabba will be my first PF priced item I've ever bought. And I thought the 12" figures were cheaper I almost caved on Grevious and Boba, but then came to my senses that they will (Boba at least) be made in 12" form. The only way I'd get a PF is by a contest, gift, or rewards points. Plus I really don't have much room for them.

PFs are awesome. If you can't afford one, enter a contest or try to receive one as a gift. They are just too impressive in person.
