Any guesses as to what the exclusive might be? I am guessing that they go the Grievous route and make the exclusive indispensible by including his black cloak.

Man, Tom, can you imagine the nightmare of putting that cloak on him? Or taking it off, for that matter? His arms are just too far apart for that. The sleeves would be impossible.

God, please not another gummi bear Sidious...

Maybe the interchangeable glove with a battle-damaged saber in it. That sounds about right to me.

Man, Gruson, I'm so happy you're starting to like this piece.

As for the exclusive, it's probably not going to be the Sith Probes, as this Maul is the Naboo version. And in an action pose, so there goes the holo-Palpatine. So yes, an interchangeable battle-damaged lightsaber is quite possible.

But then the regular would still be cooler than the exclusive -- who wouldn't want to display him with a twin-bladed lightsaber?

Well, if that ends up being the case, at least we'll be able to save a pretty penny ordering the regular.

Toy Fair pics - "He looks awesome. I just might have to get him. Wow!"

Goes up for order - "Yikes, what happened? What happened to the great paint job from Toy Fair."

Finally ships - "I glad I didn't cancel him. He looks great just like I knew he would"

I betting if it doesn't go word for word like this, it'll be awfully close.

Well Im glad we are getting Maul but would much rather get Chewie and the droids first. I guess the droids will be next followed by Qui-Gon Jin since they are sticking to the list from a few years ago. I cant wait for all of them.

I wonder if we will get to preorder on Thursday night. That would be awesome.

This has been a great day! First the Maul PF gets announced which I am really excited about. It truly looks awesome in really every way. Even the pose is nice though not my first choice. Then my girls when their JV Basketball game in Over Time!!

Okay, so I'm way late to the thread... is it possible that the chess set is just a piece being sold on its one. Maybe a larger size so you can have fun with it... not tied into a 1/4 or 1/6 figure? You'd think that Tomart would mention who it came with if it came with anybody.

Either way interesting... and not really loving the Maul PF. But I don't collect them so what do I know

I agree, they wouldn't picture it alone if it came with someone, I also think this will be a 1:6 scale standalone piece like Maul's Sith probe droid set.

I know they are several films and about 30 years or so apart, but Maul will look really cool next to Boba Fett.

I wish I had enough money, but I'd still rather get the Serenity 20" replica (which is what I'm going to do) so it's kind of sad.

However, I'm stoked for a 1/6th announcement.
