Ill Take Cassell over Ponder any day

TBH Id rather him than Alex Smith

Really? I'm sure not having seen many Chiefs or Niners games you can have that opinion, but following both teams like I do I can tell you that you'd be wrong with your statement.

wow Ed Reed signed with Texans! I will eat crow now thanks!!!

Never seen a team dismantled quicker then Ravens. Raven fans better hope Ozzy and John have a plan!!!

Have fun with a flacco as that appears to be their whole team. With a little ray on rice thrown in

The way the Ravens and Steelers are going...the Browns may be the division powerhouse this season.:lol

Herm Edwards was saying they could be the second place team next year. I would say the ravens are looking at a couple down years while try try to reload.

sucks that Dumervil was cut due to fax machine (really NFL a FAX MACHINE!!!) if Denver signs Freeney the change of scenery and having the beast Von Miller opposite him will spark him

I don't think Freeney is the game changer he used to be. Supposedly he's looking for $6 and Broncos are offering closer to $2. Dwight and his agent need to realize it's not 2006.

Based on what I read, he was cut because of an agent...not because of a fax machine.

If you didn't already think Jerry Jones was bat**** insane he's apparently signed Tony Romo to a 6 year extension with more guaranteed money than Flacco's contract.:rotfl

Flaco was a worse QB for the most part then Romo last year minus the playoff run where he borrowed Eli's lucky horse shoe.

I'm not the biggest Tony Romo hater, but that dude is bottom half of the league as far as dangerous QBs. I think Matt Flynn has about as much potential as Romo does to get better.

LOL at Raiders. We all knew at the time how horrible the trade for Carson Palmer was. Now they pretty much give him away. I do think the trade for Matt Flynn was pretty good though.

The Cards got a nice QB for basically nothing, so they win here too.

Man. . .that guy.

I'm a Cowboys fan, and I like Romo. Having said that, that much guaranteed money is insane.

But here's the rub...name one available option for the Cowboys at quarterback other than Romo? There's none.

Romo has played poorly in big games, we know that. But the Cowboys have so many more problems: offensive line, lack of consistent running game (DeMarco Murray can be a stud RB if he can stay on the field), and their defense not being able to stop anybody when it counted.

Here's a scenario that I used to use (but cannot any longer, for obvious reasons...).

If you put Flacco on the Cowboys and Romo on the Ravens, the Ravens with Romo are more dangerous, and are Superbowl contenders. Heck, if the Jets (during their two good years) had Romo at QB instead of Sanchez, they might have made a Superbowl (of course, Tony might have thrown three picks in said Super Bowl).

Again, my scenario is now a moot point.
