LMAO! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

......And that's the image of the New Year so far!

everything in football is hard to measure independantly.

Rushing and passing attempts, etc is all dependant on whether you're already leading the game or needing to come back. If a team trails 17-0 at half time you can hardly expect them to be balanced. Same goes for when a team is up 17-0.

Coaches focused on being balanced by the end of the game rather than calling plays based on the situation and result of the previous calls would not last long.

I was checking out the gif of McNabb and the other Eagles dancing the jig a few posts back.

I don't really laugh at these kinds of things because all the teams do something at least similar to this and it is just to help motivate them.

I actually feel sorry for them when they do it and then it doesn't work because they take such a hard time for it.

Now, if it is the Cowboys or Raiders...let 'em have the "what for"!

I really hope the Cowboys don't make it to the Super Bowl. That would effect my job status.

The Cowboys is the only team that we don't have the license for, so we can't do any products for them. :(
If they win....I smell another layoff wave coming.

The best teams to win for us are either the Colts or the Vikings.

I'm still rooting for the Saints...even tho they lost to my home team of Tampa Bay :yuck

So ...if u really love me...don't root for the Cowboys! :monkey3

I may start believing in God just so I can pray that the cowboys don't even make it to the Superbowl.

One more note...as a Steelers fan, it is difficult for me to admit this, but I found myself rooting for the Ravens this past weekend.

If I were any other team in the NFL playoffs...I'd be circling the date I play the Ravens in red.

This is a Super Bowl that I'm hoping for at this point. I'm still devastated over my Pats loss yesterday. I do like Manning (he's my 2nd favorite QB after Brady) and seeing Favre in another Super Bowl wouldn't be a bad thing.

He should have saved his energy for the game, that said glad he didn't. :lol

OK. Let's look at their opponents since week 6 then if win streaks are the end-all-be-all:

-Chiefs
-Raiders
-Giants
-Eagles
-Broncos
-Chiefs
-Browns
-Cowboys
-Bengals
-Titans
-Redskins

I count 3 playoff teams there, two of which were humiliated in Wild Card week, the 3rd (Cowboys) were playing the Chargers before they got "hot" at a time that people thought they couldn't win in December and wouldn't even get into the playoffs (even though it was a close game). Now, the Saints had similar types of competition during their run, but the point is, a wins streak doesn't mean much to me, because it is all about how you play this week, and I think the Jets look good, whereas I think the Chargers are similar to the Eagles a few weeks ago. Everyone jumps on their bandwagon because of impressive wins against sub-par opponents. They haven't shown many Chargers games here, but in the ones I've seen, I wasn't blown away. No one will dispute that your team has a very good (and very douchy) QB.

But how well can their defense handle a truly balanced offense like the Jets seem to have right now? What about playing a serious defense with an incentive to play well? I think the Jets can do it, and if you don't think they have a chance, well. . .it seems that you and everyone else are claiming (implicitly or otherwise) that the only teams worth a damn in your conference are the Chargers and Colts. You yourself give the Jets no chance, suggesting that you think they suck. Assuming the teams who got blown out in wildcard week weren't very good when it counted (Patriots and Bengals), and you have 3 good teams (Colts, Chargers, Ravens), how is that a good conference? Packers, Cardinals, Cowboys, Vikings, and Saints, are all (or were all in the case of the Packers) contenders in my opinion. If you want to run down the playoff teams in your own conference and then tell me that your conference is superior, well. . .then I don't quite get that, but OK.

(also, just as some friendly advice, name calling and insults are the mark of a weak or ill-conceived argument IMO, but by all means, vent at your frustrations of being the fan of an over-rated team in a crappy conference. We all need that sometimes :) )
So let me get this right the Cowboys were a bad team when the Chargers beat them on the road, so what were they a week later when they beat the Saints on the road?

As for how the chargers will deal with a good D , I want to know how that D will deal with all the weapons the Chargers have. they have not played a O like this and that D didnt look so hot against the colt until Manning got left the game. Do I think the Jets suck no but do I think they have a snow balls chance in hell against the Chargers or the Colts no. I actually think they would do very well against the NFC playoff teams.

Maybe the fact that there are so may teams that can win the NFC is due to the fact that none of the teams have stepped forward to show any dominance when they could put a clear mark that they were top team of the conference.

Ohh and you would know about being a Fan of an Over rated team in a crappy conference. :D
.

To the Eagles clip wow do both teams come out that tunnel. Its like they are walking the red carpet not going out play a football game.

How about the Orange Carpet at Miami games. :lol

Miami Dolphins unveil stadium of the future
To keep the Super Bowl coming, the Miami Dolphins say they need to keep fans dry, proposing a new roof that could be built with public funds.

That roof doesn't look hurricane friendly.

They use different sides. The one the Cowboys go through doesn't have any protective plexi glass between them and the fans. Can't imagine what will come of that situation in the future.
