Delhomme was a decent QB until that last injury. He really hasn't been the same since and I'm not optimistic that he'll bounce back. As bad as Leinhart is, the Cards should look around and see who else is available or they can pick up in a trade to fulfill their starting QB position. Neither Leinhart or Delhomme are the answer...

they could gamble & draft one?

Big Ben is involved in a new assault charge!

Anything bad that happens to the Steelers feels so damn good down to the core of my soul.

Burst your bubble, you say? Don't mind if I do.

Roethlisberger's agent, Ryan Tolliver, released the following statement Friday:

"Last night, Ben and his friends met a group of women and everyone mingled together throughout the evening. We have spoken to law enforcement. Based on information currently available, an allegation was made against Ben, which appeared to be dismissed after a preliminary investigation last night. Obviously, given the prior accusation against Ben, we are skeptical of motive, but we will continue to cooperate with everyone involved."

I know he's been often injured, but that's practically giving him away.

It's amazing the Cards took that offer. Boldin is still a great WR. Wish my Pats would've traded their extra picks for him. Would it be foolish to relinquish draft picks on a 1 and done WR in Boldin? The Pats still need to resign Brady (his contract is up after this coming season) and I think Moss is gone once his contract is up after this coming season.

I'm not sure how Boldin will fair without a standout number 1 to take some pressure away. He's a great reciever, but I don't expect to see big things in Baltimore.

what # pick do the Bengals have? Edit. 21st pick. I think thats fair, but most fans in Denverwant a #10 or lower for him.

The Steelers have been making some interesting choices.

Antwaan Randel-El - I was disappointed when they let him go. He was no superstar, but I thought he was developing nicely. I don't think the Redskins did his developement any good. It will be interesting to see how he is used after coming back to the Steelers.

Arnaz Battle - I thought he could have been a better receiver if he had been with another team. And I am as interested to see if it is too late for him, now, as I am to see how AR-E does. But I am pretty sure Battle will not get the opportunities as a receiver unless there are injuries in that area.

Ryan Clark - Has not really been the same since his spleen issue. I wonder if he can get it back on track. And I also wonder if he will even get the chance. There is a chance that Troy Polamalu will not get injured this year.

And in other interesting news:

I read a message on a blog about Ben Roethlisberger that the woman who is accusing him of sexual assault (the second one) claimed that she did not know who Ben was even after being around when fans were approaching him for pics and autographs for hours prior to the incident, but instead of estimating his size, she nailed his disciption perfectly at 241 pounds and 6'5" and brown/brown...the exact stats that the Steelers have for him on their website.

Now, I am not offering this as evidence that Ben is innocent. I am not even offering it is truth. I am just offering it as being funny IF it is true.

I do find it interesting that this is the second woman to come forward and make these kind of accusations towards big fat ass.
