Sproles isn't someone who can help carry a team from the RB position so letting him go isn't that big of a deal. They need a guy who can come in and carry the ball 20-30 times a game plus catch a few passes. They had that in LT but ran him into the ground really though I think he has something left in the tank.

He may not be able to carry a team but damn is a quick little change up. Sproles! Come to Philly!

I dont know. I've seen him up close playing the AFC West and coming to KC and while at KState. Wasn't that impressed. He'll have a pretty short shelf life IMO.

SD running games sucked last year. If your O-Line dosent open the holes it makes it very difficult to get a running game going. I dont think Sproles or LT leaving will hurt the Chargers.

As far as Terrell Owens, he should go to NE.

No. I meant Superbowl winner. I figured being an insider, you would have some idea. Maybe they wait until mid-season, so they can poll the best stories at that point?

our prob this year was the O line. I'd say we'll draft a RB high & quality O line the rest of the draft. alot of the main starting line was hurt for a good chunk of the year

Chargers let go of Sproles? :horror

Cromartie is heading to New York (Jets) and Vanden Bosch to the Lions :horror.

Big Ben is involved in a new assault charge!

Anything bad that happens to the Steelers feels so damn good down to the core of my soul.

Just saw that Delhomme was let go. Pretty strange to give him that huge contract extension at the beginning of last year. . .now they've got to eat 12 million dollars or so. Well, at least there is no salary cap this year. Saints got rid of Charles Grant. He used to be a pretty good player, but his injuries were too much over the last few years.

I would be really careful not to expect too much with Delhomme after last year. He played horribly. Leinert might not be very good, but he probably wouldn't throw as many picks.

I don't see it happening. We've got one year left with Moss and Welker will be back in some capacity after the first few games of the season. The Patriots need a decent 3rd WR. I think they are gambling bringing back David Patton. If Owens was brought in as that 3rd WR, I really think he would put up a stink that he isn't getting enough playing time or catches with Moss & Welker in front of him. I was always hoping that we'd get Deion Branch back. The Pats need to focus on improving their defensive line before time runs out though (if it hasn't already).

leinert is terrible

Delhomme was a decent QB until that last injury. He really hasn't been the same since and I'm not optimistic that he'll bounce back. As bad as Leinhart is, the Cards should look around and see who else is available or they can pick up in a trade to fulfill their starting QB position. Neither Leinhart or Delhomme are the answer...
