I don't want to sound off on this issue too soon. There is still a lot of investigating that needs to be done. But I have to admit to being just a little curious about how much attention this sexual assault thing with Ben Roethlisberger is getting from the authorities.

Roeth is GUILTY of being a dopey moron...

Even if he gets acquitted of any crime, or wrong-doing, the guy has been a d0uch3 and needs to wake up. If he did not have 2 SB rings on his resume, he would be treated just as bad in the public eye as some of these mongoloids that disgrace the NFL (i.e Pacman, Donte Stallworth et.)

CSN reporting that McNabb will likely be traded to either the Rams, Bills, or Raiders. The Kolb era will soon begin. I think it's a smart move. Let McNabb move on, and Kolb develop along with all the young talent they brought in the past two years. They likely will get a high number two pick for McNabb. I see them bringing in another QB and probably a draft pick to learn the ropes behind Vick and Kolb. This will be interesting and so will next year. Either way I'm happy to see the team move forward.

Its funny with McNabb - he has had a very very good career, won multiple division titles, countless games, an off. player of the year, took the team to many champ. games, a SB et., and year in and year out it seems like he's on the outs. I know PHI can be tricky about how they manage their cap; their GM would rather get rid of a player a year early than a year late and they have some depth their at QB - so a trade could be a smart thing. But the guy to me seems like he never gets respect in PHI.

Once he is gone, and they struggle with life after DM, then they'll probably appreciate how much he has given to that city.

No way is he near the machine he was in first 2-3years, when he has incredible dynamic offensive prowess, but the guy has ran an efficient off. with good solid WRs (finally, the last couple of years they've decide to add Maclin, Jackson a TE et) around him, especially after the F.Mitchell, Pinkston fiascos...

I like McNabb - here's hoping he has a chance to go elsewhere and win.

BTW - I can't wait for the draft.

Tebow - where will he go?
Will St. Louis just go QB atop the draft? Or will they take a DT and use #1 type money on a defensive position that does not command that slotted money? Also, Suh is a talent that is amazing. You have to like McClain the LB - will the NYG pull the trigger to move up the draft to get him? And, where will Colt McCoy after his rehabbing?

As The NFL Turns!

Unfortunately, it is hard to know what to believe in these situations. Is it believable that these rich, arrogant ego-maniacs could do anything, feeling that they are above the standards of law and acceptable behavior that apply to normal people? Sure. Is it equally believable that some gold-digger would go to great extents to fabricate a total lie in order to get paid? Of course it is.

All that's left is for the Steelers to sign Pacman Jones. :lol Then their team of criminals will be complete.

Seems to me that had pretty much nothing to do with the Steelers' team. He wasn't even in Pennsylvania. I generally don't blame a team when individuals from that team show off what a thug they can be, unless the team stands by and does nothing like the Raiders or seems to encourage the behavior like the Cowboys and now, to a lesser degree, the Eagles.

I am not quite ready to convict them yet. But my opinion is the same for every NFL player, no matter what team they are on.

If Ben and Santonio are innocent, then shame on the haters.

If Ben and Santonio did these things, I hope the Steelers get rid of them and shame on any team that picks them up because I would then see them as being the same lowlife trash as Michael Vick.

It is not the first time Steelers players have gotten in to trouble. And I have not loved the team for 33 years because every player was perfect. I have loved the team, partially, because they have historically not tolerated it. Bam Morris wasn't even arraigned before the Steelers got rid of him.

What player from the Eagles has been in this type of trouble and how does their organization encourage it? I can't wait to hear this one. :lol Also who has been in trouble with the Eagles? Please enlighten me.

Only 6 Eagles have been arrested since 2000:

Mike Patterson - drug possession
Juqua Parker - drup possession
Dhani Jones - dancing:rotfl
Terrence Carroll - drup possession
Damon Moore - abandoning a puppy
Thomas Hamner - animal cruelty

Exactly, so I again ask. How does the Eagles front end encourage this behavior?

The Eagles organization hosted a dance contest in an attempt to get an Eagle on Dancing With The Stars.

Patterson, Parker, and Carroll were arrested because only a person in possession of drugs could dance so bad.

Hamner accidentally kicked Moore's puppy while dancing. Moore couldn't find the puppy after Hamner kicked it and went home cuz he was tired.

Dhani was arrested because he wouldn't stop dancing when the music stopped...and his horrible John Travolta dancing.:rotfl

Well stated. :clap
