Sometimes we have to put the trolls in their place.

:lol like me? I'll admit it. As a lifelong Browns fan anything negative to the Steelers makes me feel warm an fuzzy on the inside and I don't feel ashamed about it.

Feel free to rag on the Browns. I have no delusions that they are any better...hell they are a lot worse, but that don't mean this doesn't make me laugh my ass off when it happens to Steel-town.

I no longer hate the Browns. They are not the original Browns. The Original Browns are now the Ravens and they took all of my hate (friendly-rivalry hate that is) with them when they left Cleveland.

And don't get me wrong...I still like it when the Steelers beat the current Browns. But not like when they beat the Ravens.

Like you don't know.

SERIOUSLY! Put me in my place and tell me. We are talking about the Steelers Stars here! Not some joe the bench warmer. Seriously name off the Eagles who have had off the field problems? Lets here it wise one. Don't be throwing other teams under the bus when you have a bunch of thugs playing for yours. :lol

Still waiting? And no you absolutely cannot play the Vick card. He played for Atlanta and has been a model citizen since joining the Eagles organization. So seriously lets hear it. Whatcha got? That's right, you don't have ____! :rotfl

You win, BM. You can put that in your pocket full of useless stats along with "most playoff wins without a Superbowl victory".

Fact of the matter is that the Steelers organization won't stand for this behavior if it is substantiated and neither will the Steelers fans.

Thank you! I know I do. That said I'm just giving the Steelers fans crap. It sounds like their owner is none to pleased about all of this and I can be sure that they won't tolerate it one bit. I mean we aren't talking about the Raiders here. :lol

As if BadMoon directs what examples I use.

The Eagles have put themselves on the "thug supporters" map with the Michael Vick thing. Right there below the Raiders and the Cowboys. Every football fan knows it. And all of BadMoons jumping up and down and finger-pointing and temper tantrums and rationalization will not change it.

You guys can shine any light that you want to on Ben Roethlisberger, Santonio Holmes, and any other Steeler who steps out of line and it means nothing.

The rubber hits the road where the teams front office draws the line of tolerance. And so far, there are issues that I don't agree with that the Steelers let go in the past, but they have always stood head and shoulders above most of the other NFL teams as far as not tolerating detrimental conduct goes. They have not been perfect, but I feel no shame of them as I would if I were a Raiders, Cowboys or an Eagles fan.

IMO no organization is better than any others. they are all out there to win and to make money and really don't care too much about anything else.

My point stands unchallenged. C'mon, man! Give me something to work with. You are supposed to be part of the "point/counterpoint" base of the debate and this is the best you can muster?

Oh, I got it. You were pressed for time and just wanted to show that you are still in the discussion, but didn't have time to actually put a real argument together.

No sweat, I'll wait...ball's in your court.

:D

U can't spin this around and you know it. :lol

LOL...coming from the one person on Earth who might just be a bigger spin doctor than Bill O'Rielly...

Still waiting on the current list of Eagles players that committed a crime "since" they have been on the team. Furthermore I'm looking for examples of how their organization promotes such behavior. :lecture

This is your quote:
Seems to me that had pretty much nothing to do with the Steelers' team. He wasn't even in Pennsylvania. I generally don't blame a team when individuals from that team show off what a thug they can be, unless the team stands by and does nothing like the Raiders or seems to encourage the behavior like the Cowboys and now, to a lesser degree, the Eagles.

I know the only point you are trying to get at is Vick. You are trying and you are failing. Judging by your own logic "He wasn't even in Pennsylvania" and the fact that he wasn't even a member of the team makes this null and void. Also the front office hardly enourages this behavior. Did the Eagles call Vick when he was in Atlanta and will him to start a dog fighting ring?

Seriously you argument is groundless, uneducated, and makes zero sense.

So again, I ask. What players have committed crimes to the magnitude of the recent Steelers players and how does their organization encourage this? You seemed to think you have knowledge of this. I mean read your own quote. :lol
