What was your reaction to Ben Roethlisberger's statement after it was revealed he won't face sexual assault charges?

He's a changed man. I expect a new Big Ben in 2010. 725 votes 6%

Not buying it. Like the district attorney said, he needs to grow up. 11431 votes 94%

:lol this is a poll taken off a local Pittsburgh news site.

Cowboys are set at QB.

My brother lives in Dallas and tells me that the Cowboys fans that he knows want to see Romo traded for Ben. No surprise to me and I would consider it an upgrade at QB...but I still don't want Romo on the Steelers' team.

he'll fit in in oakland with the rest of the convicts there :rotfl

The 70's and 80's want their joke back.

Can you name the last Raiders player who was in serious legal trouble?

The Raiders' 12th man is up on murder charges every year.

LOL...fits right in with what has been in the news about the Steelers' fans being as pissed off as anyone about Ben and his dumb crap. In fact, I will have to try to find the article, but I read some obscure news item that suggested that even though the Rooneys were mad, it was the fan reaction that pushed them to the trade point.

First game of the year, and you WIN it against the team that kept you outta the SB. Seems like the right way to start off a new season and take a shot at it again.

(revenge might be a strong word, just cause it's a regular season game. Then again every win means SOMETHING. And looking at the Vikes schedule this year they're gonna need every win)

You should just keep hoping that Favre decides to play next year... Without him the Vikes will be lucky to win 10 games.

Oh ____! Brees is screwed! :horror

Along with his co-defendant the Eagles' 12th man.:monkey5

Raiders have already said they're not interested per Schefter on Twitter.

Damn. If the bottom of the NFL barrel doesn't want him...that means we are stuck with him.

I am going to burn my Roethlisberger jerseys and film it and put it on youtube.:D

It's good to see that a professional team still actually holds moral standards to its players these days, its interesting that they would hear offers to trade for a 2x super bowl QB though, but I can understand it as well. I like what Goodell is doing with the NFL

But hearing offers and actually pulling the trigger are two very different things. Every GM worth his weight would at least listen to any trade offer for any player... but I don't think there was/is a chance in heck Pitt trades him right now. Now if he pulls another stupid stunt then its a different story.

Goodell has nothing to do with the trade rumors, only the 4-6 game suspension.

If he pulls another "stupid stunt" he won't get traded, he'll get cut due to the 1 year suspension.
