You shouldn't be laughing. LOL! I hate it when talent like his gets dumped on a crap ass team. It will be years until he gets to actually compete on a good roster. :banghead:monkey2

Hey, hey now....the Chiefs will be okay and are on the up and up. Besides they don't have a lot of talent on the "D" side...this guy should start immediately.

The Bills took a RB?! :banghead How is he supposed to run anywhere with our banged-up and shoddy OL? :sick I am suprised they didn't take Clausen, but relieved it wasn't Tebow. :monkey4

Tebow is a Nike commercial at best. :lol
I'm recalling all those Brady Quinn commercials we got a couple years ago, before he even played.

Whoops!

Not condoning the price the Broncos paid for Tebow, but I think he's going to make a decent pro at some position. Not completely sold on him as a full time QB, but he's big enough and atheletic enough to play almost any skill position from TE, FB, HB or even a line backer. Do you spend a first round pick on him? No way. Glad he's on the team? Hell yeah.

I agree that he might be a great fullback or tight end. Not sure he has the speed to be a good running back, though. Knowing a guy has excelled elsewhere and will always play hard matters. But still. . .crazy pick.

Don't like my Patriots selection at all in McCourty. He was a guy that they could've easily grabbed in the 2nd round. I was hoping they would've went after Dez Bryant (considering Moss is likely gone after next season) or someone else like a Sergio Kindle. I really don't think McCourty solves any of the Pats problems. I'm sure he'll do fine on special teams....but to waste a first round selection on that is stupid.

Semi-related to your post, I have no idea why the Cowboys took Dez Bryant when they need a tackle after releasing Flozell Adams. They have a very good corps of WRs already: Miles Austin is a gamebreaker, and though it can be argued that he snuck up on people last season, I don't see his production dropping off. Roy Williams will never vindicate the number of picks given up for him, but if he can just be the possession / move the chains guy to Miles Austin's speedster, he'll be fine. Patrick Crayton is a good third WR. And let's not forget the receiving talents that Jason Witten and Martellus Bennett bring to the table (although Bennett had a sub-par season last year).

It seems to me that Jerry Jones didn't want to make the same mistake again as the last time a talented WR was available to the Cowboys. They passed up on Randy Moss and have regretted it ever since. Maybe Dez Bryant will become the second coming of Randy Moss, but I doubt it...
