We have dreams here in Minneapolis and Mr. Morris wasn't in them. We were hoping for Steve Spagnuolo.

The problem is he'll stick with the Tampa 2 defense. We just don't have the middle linebacker with speed to drop into coverage.

1. I don't even have the draft to look forward to.

2. And 2-3 compensatory picks in Round 3.

1. Despite the end of the season debacle, the Raiders have massive upside for next season. The closer I look at your 11-5 prediction, the more I lean towards it.

2. I didn't put those in my post but I knew you'd nail me for it.

So are those sandwich picks in betwen rounds...like between rounds 4 & 5 or 5 & 6?

Very excited about the playoffs. I get to see the Steelers game at Harold's for the first time this year. I can't wait.


I do have to admit to having just a very slight hint of a concern about the Steelers getting victimized by a Mile High Miracle.

I am looking forward to feeling silly about that after the game, though.

Just read that Kirby Wilson, the Steelers running backs coach, was burned severely in a house fire over 30-50% of his body and is currently in an induced coma in hospital although the burns are not life-threatening.


Hoping a speedy recovery to him.

I actually was kind of confused when I read the article that I found because they said the burns were serious, but it didn't sem like something that warranted an induced coma.

But then I remembered when I was in a truck fire and got 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my right thigh and how much that hurt. So maybe the coma was to keep him from having to deal with the pain.
