You're right. Nothing says humble like Rampage Jackson, Brock Lesnar or Plexico Buress shooting himself in the leg at a night club.

seeing as I said current, present champions, since we're talking about present douchebags, and you picked a guy that's retired, and another that hasn't been champion in over 4 years, shows how much you actually know about the sport. Plax? Since when does one player represent everything positive or negative a team represents as a whole?

Damn, I must admit....Nash really showed me that I know nothing about football. Being off by 4 points for each team does mean I know nothing about the NFL. :rotfl

I'm anxiously awaiting the excuses for the Patriots losing.

:lol:lol:lol

Nash won't show up here again.

Seriously you are putting Carolina in there? :lol :rotfl

guyver1 only shows up on game days and disappears for the rest of the week. :lol

i dont know what planet you are from, but i was on edge the whole game. So is pretty much everyone in ny...

I'm not from NY so I didn't care who won. Glad it worked out great for you but that was pretty much a snoozer game (except the last 5 minutes.)

Congrts to the Giants on winning the Supa Bowl! That catch by Manningham was amazing. The last play by the Pats could have won it around if Grankowski was just a few steps ahead.

The commericails were OK. The best commericail was the Avengers movie. The worst one was the Century 21 suoer agents.

Madonnas perforance was OK. I wish they had Lady Gaga instead.

Wow, lot of people gracing us with their football expertise now that the season is over.

I wish Nash wasn't such a classless sissy and would come back in here and tell 316 how he knows nothing about football. Funny how he scoffed at him for thinking Eli and Brady would each only have 2 TD passes. Brady- 2 TD passes, Eli- only 1. Hmmmmm, who doesn't know what they're talking about?

Good game. Not great, just good. Patriots looked rattled the whole game, and Eli was smart with the ball, for the most part. Definitely not an MVP worthy performance by Eli, but that's just a popularity contest anymore anyway. Tuck was the MVP in my eyes. That Giant's relentless pass rush was what kept the game manageable for their offense, and Tuck was the star of that from the Pat's 1st offensive snap of the game. JPP had one heck of a game, too.

I honestly had to laugh when the Giants owner called Giants fans the most loyal in sports, and the first question after that comment was how did he handle all the letters and calls asking if the coaching change would happen after falling to 6-6. Ya know, when all of those "loyal" fans wanted Coughlin fired and Eli benched. Gotta love fair weather fans who act like they knew all along after they won the big game and everything is all said and done.

Not looking forward to the "experts" switching all of their praise from Green Bay and Rodgers over to Eli and the Giants. I mean honestly, they're a mediocre team that got hot at the right time for 2 seasons. They for the most part have to claw their way into the play offs, and they've had more one-and-done play off appearances than they have seasons with wins. But so goes the way of the game, you have to take the "experts'" praise and knowledge with a grain of salt and just wait to see whose time it is that season.

The Giants win explains one thing. The reason the Saints weren't in the superbowl this year is because the Giants stole their horseshoe and wedged it firmly up their asses.

Apparently me still until there's a retraction.:rotfl

So, that explains the Eli face.:rotfl

I think we all stand a better chance of hearing Al Qaeda saying they now love all the Christians and Jews and want to promote World peace, than we do of seeing Nash posting any kind of retraction. :lecture

So, is Eli a legitimate "Elite QB" now? I say no. For as many good seasons as he's had with the Giants, he's had over twice as many bad ones to go with it. Like I said earlier, they got hot at the right time twice in the 8 seasons he's played there. I'll give him that's he's been cool under pressure in some big games, but there's no telling what you're going to see out of him from week-to-week more often than not.

All the people saying you have to consider him elite now for winning a 2nd Super Bowl, that would make the top QB list look like this;

1. Tom Brady- 3-2 Super Bowl record
2. Ben Roethlisberger- 2-1 Super Bowl record
3. Eli Manning- 2-0 Super Bowl record
4. Peyton Manning- 1-1 Super Bowl record
5. Drew Brees- 1-0 Super Bowl record (wins tie breaker with Rodgers due to better overall play off record)
6. Aaron Rodgers- 1-0 Super Bowl record

And ain't no "experts" out there want to put Ben above those QBs under him on that list.

I'm saying no because he seems to be a case of good recievers making the QB not the other way around. He reminds me of my high school QB who knew he had a team full of talent and would just throw the ball into ridiculous situations and we could come out with it. He shows flashes here and there, but not enough that I would start a team with him. A great example of what I'm talking about is on Cruz's TD. That was an absolutely horrible decision. If it was against a decent linebacker (not even a great one) that ball would have been picked. Cruz was even shocked the ball made it to him as it bounced off his chest. The linebacker just didn't look. He had a similar play later in the game on his side of the field where the linebacker just had to stick his hands up and it would have been a pick. Even Collinsworth noticed that one.

I don't care what anyone says either. He's got two superbowl wins, but the first was pure luck and this 2nd the NE team should have won MVP because they did more to earn the Giants victory than the Giants did.
