If Manning gets hurt the Broncos better have a back up plan. Back ups in Indy have been horrible in the past.

I told you...4th rounder for Tebow LOL. If it wasn't the Raiders, it would have to be that idiot Ryan. Can't say I hope for any success for Tebow while he's a Jet.

I'm hoping that no one wants Tebow now, and maybe having him sit behind Manning the next three years would be good for him. Was looking at his salary over the next three years...(1.9, 2.2 & 2.5 million respectively) and that's not much cheaper than paying a back up. I sure don't hope they just cut him for nothing in return. Being that he is a 1st Rd. pick and a division & playoff game winning QB.

I'm kinda surprised none of the involved players got anything. Unless they're still looking in to that.

i think they are waiting for NFLPA to finish their investigation before dealing with the players. they will probaly be suspensions and fines for the players

you missed the news he's been traded already.

This was an ego move for Elway. He can't stand having a QB that wasn't his choice be the star of the team. Now he's got his boy and if he gets hurt it will send the team backwards 3-4 years. Now what will we have? The equivalent of Curtis Painter? Yeah that works out.

Tebow to the Jets. Being a Gator fanboy I want to cheer for him, but jeez the Jets?:yuck

As for the Saints, wow much more than I thought, especially Payton's suspension.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that our O-Line will keep Manning clean and upright for the next three seasons...

So with all this craziness with the Saints, do the Dolphins give them a ring and see what the cost for Drew Brees rights would be?

One good thing about this is, at least Payton will be able to rehab his torn ACL and come back the following year. Fully recovered and ready to go...:lol

Saints penalty is tough, but probably fair. A head coach is responsible for what his assistants are up to in a situation like this, particularly if there was evidence and warning by the NFL beforehand. But it does sting, and this is the first time in a long time when I've seen a punishment truly meet a crime in the NFL, so it sucks that the Saints have to be the focus of all that. Particularly considering that I'm sure other teams are doing similar things, but are either craftier than the Saints, or are less effective at going after the bounties to be caught.
