I was shocked that it wasn't something bad, his reaction was very gut-wrenching.

As for Sid I don't really hate him, I hate the sweater he wears much more. That goes back years to when I was a young fan and the Pens beat the Bruins two straight years in the ECF.

Not to mention a certain player named Ulf Samuelsson. Neely was never truly the same.

Ovi has deserved alot more than he got several times, you cant play with wreckless abandon like he does. Of all these hits I think Richards was the cleanest.

Flint Flopjack doesn't need to start again, unless Rask is hurt. If this team sinks further into mediocrity over the next few years Chiarelli can point to the deal he gave Thomas.

14 games to go with a 1 point lead over NYR. Up ahead they really need to win tomorrow against the Canes, play for the 2 with the Pens, and a must win Sunday with the Rangers.

I don't think they'd put him out there if it wasn't for that stretch. He gave up what, 3 goals within 7 minutes the other night? He's been horrible lately and it's not like the B's aren't fighting for a playoff spot. They need every win they can get.

It's going to be interesting with the Pens game coming up though. I hope that if they retailiate they spare Crosby and knock the crap out of Cooke.

What an embarrassing excuse this team is. Granted the Penguins are MUCH more talented, they could have at least made some sort of effort.

If Rask hadn’t stood on his head for most of the second period it probably would have been about 7-0. The PP was way too cutesy with all the passing. Would it kill Ryder to talk a damn shot every once in a while?

Claude Julien’s system doesn’t seem to be clicking with this squad. He has no chance of being fired though since they’re still paying Dave Lewis for his excellent coaching.

I can’t wait for the boo-birds to be out in full force Sunday against the Rangers.

Of course hindsight is 20/20 but I think the B's would have been better off dealing Wheeler instead of Kessel. Or finding a way to keep Kessel in general. They just don't seem to have an actual finisher at the moment.

Hopefully, but the Leafs have been playing better since they got Giguère. It'd be nice if they could lose tonight especially with the Canes somehow beating the Caps.

I liked Kessel, and definitely would rather have seen Wheeler go. However, Claude and Phil weren't the best of buddies, especially after the benching in the '08 playoffs. He wanted out of Boston, and so went our offense spark plug. Part of Savard's problem this wear was the lack of good winger to feed.

Another good game between these teams. Bylsma decision on the shootout sometimes drives me crazy but such is life. You guys got the W, but you have to admit Crosby completely undressed JT in the shootout.
