I got a stern talking to in reference to calling bumblebee bumble "fill in the rest" so I am taking this time to apologize to bumblebee and to the person who I offended.

I honestly stopped watching after the 3rd montreal goal last night. Seemed like only a handful of players were showing much heart and it showed in the final score. Time to rid the team of people that do not want to be there or past their welcome. Say what you will about Cooke but he seemed to be one of the most consistent pens throughout the playoffs. I really hope they resign him.

Team subtractions should include:

Guerin
Feds
Poni
Gonchar
McKee
Eaton is borderline :panic:

Oh and their so called powerplay coach Mike Yeo..

Sad and disgusted at the moment. I wanted to get hammered last night, but have a 2nd interview this afternoon. I knew I'd be going in pissed off already. Didn't need a hangover on top of it

We at least need an effing commercial!:rock

Daniel Briere will probably have one before long. He's already haunting my nightmares.

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow night. I guess this is how Yankees fans felt a few years ago...except not arrogant and certain of victory.

It seems so odd not watching the Pens move on, despite some guys not playing hard, I put alot of the blame on Fleury. He needed to save some of those early goals that were weak in several games, you know Mtl needs to score early. I that early :32 second goal deflated them last night.

I to hope Cooke stays, just hope Shero doesnt move Staal.

Gonchar thanks for all youve done for us, but time for you to move on, you cleary werent in teh game when you let that sniper Moen go right past you last night.

Couldn't agree more. Powerplay was a joke lastnight like it has been a problem for many years. It's time for Mike Yeo to go (I have no idea what his coaching ethics are but they suck), and I always said that our wingers are pathetic. We need more presence, errr talent there. Having a bunch of 3rd liners up as 1st liners is a joke!

If we could deal Staal for a winger or adjust him as one (which he has difficulty doing so I might add), and perhaps look to see if we can find a cheaper solution to Gonchar, if not I would also like to retain Gonch. He's been great for us in the past and I still believe he's one of those guys that anchors our powerplay. Who can get the job done like him? One poor playoff game or series should not mean the demise as a member of the Penguins. As much as I like Letangs and Gogs, they aren't ready to take on that role, and as much as I like Despres, not many guys can step in right away and make an immediate impact like your Tyler Myers of the world. So be careful what you wish for.

The problem has and always been our wingers, and we could use more grit guys. Also, consistent goaltending is an issue. Starting to feel as though Fleury is not so dependable. If he chokes again for us, I say we look into getting a new netminder.

I'm with ya there. I don't know what Goch's problem was last night, but he picked a really bad time to have a horrible game. If he would sign cheap for a year or two deal I'd be ok with it. My earlier comment was still from last nights frustration. One other player that I thought had a good series is Kunitz. I'm not fond of his pricetag, but he was one of the few that played hard for it.

Aside from Fleury's consistent weak ass goals in the series you also have to look at crosby and malkin. The reason why it didn't matter as much that are wingers were so-so is because they were putting the puck in the net. Not this series. I don't know what the heck was wrong with them, but they didn't seem to have the extra gear.

Good luck figuring out what to do shero, just please get a new PP coach or give that responsibility to someone else. Letang I have no doubt will be good in the near future, but Gogo is a roll of the dice. He is just inconsistent at best. I'm curious to see who gets offered and who doesn't. I hope Tangredi makes lots of strides next year that he's up with the big boys within 2yrs. Should be interesting

I don't like Eric Tangradi, I thought we had a top-six winger of the future in Luca Caputi and we got rid of him. That deal sure worked out... who called that craptastic trade? Oh, I did! Boo-urns!

I know a lot of you will say, "Wha?!" after I said you never deal one of the top 3. Well Mr. Evgeni Malkin has been anything but a top 3 NHLer in 09/10. He didn't seem into it at all this past season. He seemed lethargic. If that keeps up one has to think he should be dealt for a big package that can fill in some holes for us. I only say this if it persists. Maybe then we can get the wingers and depth we need in those areas, and a proper younger replacement in Gonch, and if the crap goaltending persists, a legitimate starter who can actually stop a puck the size of a 747.

Then we can make Jordan Staal into a 2nd line centerman, getting ample ES time and even some primary PP minutes.

Again, why take a guy 2nd overall so he can wallow on your third line for years. What a waste.

I was thinking teh same thing, maybe we should look at Malkin to be moved. Your right he did seem out of it all year, maybe he was looking at the Oylmpics are maybe just a huge Stanley cup hangover. Next year will tell.

Next year should give us an idea. If it persists, then one has to say... do we better with him or a great plethora of talent that can make our team stronger than even a Malkin who's on his game?

I guess Crosby choked against his childhood team. The team he wanted to be drafted to back in 05.

I mean that's alot of pressure right there. How can you justify winning against the team you grew up cheering for?

Hats-off to the greatest Hockey Franchise in the NHL. And hats-off to Crosby for knowing where his allegiances lies... to the HABS. :lol I'm kidding, or am I?!?!?

Keep thinking that. :p

Oh, and here's to the idiots in Montreal who looted the streets of their town and burned cars, it's just the second round you maroons!

As a Montrealer who grew up loving the Habs, it is absolutely amazing to see what's happening! What a ride! It feels like I've been waiting forever to attend another Stanley Cup parade down Ste Catherine's street!

Keep thinking that :p

Maybe you should ask Crosby yourself ;)

I know that'll be the first thing I'll ask if I run into him.

Plus when does MTL never riot. If you're Canadian you'll know that they Riot when they win and Riot when they lose... French Canadians.
