I want to add I have no desire to watch this Cup Final. It maybe a good one but I just don't care for either team. Maybe I'll watch a game if it goes to a Game 7.

Dude you claim to be a HOCKEY fan and an ultimate one at that and don't care? LAME! I'm not as big of a hockey fan as I am football. I will admit that. I'm not sure about this final. I want to say the Blackhawks will win it in 5.
For some reason I can't sell myself on the Flyers still. I know they dispatched the Devils easily, had the historic comeback, and then handled an over-matched Habs team, but there's still something missing about them to me.

Don't call me out dude. Nobody understands how much I follow this game but me. My knowledge of the game superseeds the NHL. It superseeds the AHL. It superseeds junior hockey. There is no life without hockey, but don't be sad if I could careless about your team or Chicago. Think what you wish, but what you think and what is fact are two different worlds. Yours is a world of fiction where my world is a world of mutha eff'ing fact! Now go have some fat dude sit on your face and think about that as he lays a big smelly one on yeah.

Furthermore, I already stated that I am not as much a fan of NHL hockey as I am a fan of the sport in general. It's pretty sad when a person's fandom is gaged over such silly frivolous and self-righteous thoughts. Don't make any mistakes, ice hockey is a sport. Which I love more than anything else. The NHL is one of its many leagues. It's neither the beginning of the end. It's an abbreviation. Only true hockey fans know this. I prefer the AHL and to some degree, even Junior hockey over it. Of course the talent isn't as good, but it's better than aiding to millionaire's pockets.
And as for Voorhees, NHL hockey hasn't been as good since 1996. That was the last truly enjoyable high flying offensive wielding regular season of hockey we have been witness to. 06 came very close, but only because the hockey world alignment was thrown out of harmony due to the pointless 04/05 lockout, thus why you saw the Cheechoo's (56 goals) and Gionta's (48 goals) of the hockey world generate so much offence. Since then, the stars have been properly aligned.
That and it's become a cesspool of overinflated salaries, which I thought the lockout was put in place, to bring down outrageous salaries. Yep, we're back to over inflated ticket prices to games where it's dump and chase, and a league which can't get over it's stubborn idealization that the NHL just won't work in most American markets, because 1) people don't care about hockey in those areas and 2) it's too expensive in some areas where it might actually have some success to thrive. The NHL is a hot mess and has been for some time now. It peaked at around the 1989-1994 mark, but has cooled off due to one major cluster eff' up after another. I don't like football but I give them credit, those people in the NFL know how to run a business. Bettman and the NHL Board of Governors do not.

Those NHL commercials are phenomenal. Simple, but phenomenally executed! Hockey is the BEST sport. Nothing touches it!

Very well said my friend. Believe it or not, 90's hockey was pretty damn decent. Hell, even Keith can agree with that ................ the Legion of doom was fantastic back in the day. I must admit, I loved Lindros.

Decent weather a little south of you has brought the bros you often speak of out to Old Orchard Beach.
For some reason I started talking to these two guys wearing Habs gear who told me back on Saturday that the Habs had this no problem.
The guy in the Subban shirt spouted that "Les Canadiens sont la prochaine dynastie dans le LNH!"
Granted he was drunk, but the things that run through Habs fans' minds amaze me.
