Police chief Jim Chu said nine officers were injured, including one who required 14 stitches after being hit with a thrown brick. Chu said some officers suffered bite marks. He said 15 cars were burned, including two police cars.

don't know why they'd think that, since both the Oilers and Flames made it to game sevens in the finals over the last decade and both lost with no riots.

I can now proudly say I have witnessed all four of my teams win at least one championship in my lifetime and it is amazing.

Even more amazing is the fact that all four teams have won a championship within the last 7 years. That is just unbelievable.

BTW not all canadians wanted Vancouver to win. as a matter of fact i think more wanted them to loose than to win. it's just something about the team that doesn't sit well with alot of other fans.
personally i don't like the Sedins and Lu isn't a big time goaltender, yeah he won the Olympic gold, but he wasn't spectacular doing it.

And I shouldn't have said "all" Canadians. Ontario folk, Alberta, etc. are all good. It's the idiots in Vancouver and the scum in Quebec that try to ruin it for everyone.

I don't know one Edmontonian that cheered for Vancouver. Besides i've always had a soft spot for the original 6 teams. I've always liked the Bruins. Very classy team, they easily deserved what they got. On that note i've always hated Vancouver (not the city) and they also got what they deserved.

What i mean't was, we don't get racial wars over here that would be even more dangerous actually so, if people want to rub this out as a Canadian thing..you can all suck my ____...you got worse/had worse to deal with in your past history of similar violence happending in your country.
