I have to admit, I'm looking forward to Nov 16.
I want the Habs to crush the Flyers into oblivion.

How about a friendly bet?

If the flyers win you have to rock a Philly avatar for a week and if the habs win I will put on of those ugly C's as my avatar.:wave

No, no you won't :D

Nice win over the Leaves tonight.

Loved the "thank you Kessel" chants after Seguin's goal.:rotfl

Man, the Leafs were founded in 1917..relax. We are the premier hockey town, no ____ing doubt about that.

yeah that was pretty funny. don't forget it's "Leafs" though. damn team doesn't even know the proper plural form of "leaf".

Or they know the correct pluralization of the proper name "Leaf".

Even against the Leafs, I was happy for Thomas to keep his play up... love that guy. Obviously he can't keep up his sub-.7 GAA going all year, but it will be interesting to see whether his play for the rest of the season is closer to what he's doing now, or what he did last year.

*sighs* Caps laid a stinker last night.
they had 2 things going against them. first they had to deal with niklas backstrom(outstanding saves). second, the night before, in the excel energy center, Roger Waters performed his Wall concert and there was so much pot in the air i couldn't see 2 feet in front of me. there is no way they aired that place out in 24 hours. good show BTW.

I thought I'd share a few pics with my new freakboard hockey buds of a really great purchase I just made:
The Darth Vader 1:1 bust exclusive. I bought the last one Sideshow had as my WL just converted. Whatcha think???

Very nice. I had always considered getting the Vader mask as my goalie mask design, but it just never looked right (and I didn't want a picture of a zoomed-out Vader).

Still hard to say since he was hurt last year. It also helps that in his 5 wins the team was playing great and on the flip side they were ____ for Rask's starts.

Over the next few weeks they'll probably have to set up some kind of rotation since there aren't many off-days.

I'm amazed more peeps aren't talking about the Bruins. Jedi Mind Trick Chiarelli has done amazing work over the past few years. The question isn't whether or not the Bruins will make the playoffs, it's whether or not they'll finish first in the East.

As much as I might think the Habs, Caps, and the Pens will do some damage, it's still pretty much 'what you see is what you get' with them. In essence, stop Plecanec, Ovie, and the kid, and you have a great chance of winning. However, with this year's Bruins, they can pretty much come at you from anywhere. I haven't been this positive on the Bruins since the Neely era. And, I generally slam the Bruins too, almost as much as those lowly Leafs.

The Flyers have a few Bullseyes on them this year.
Both the Habs and Bruins are just itching to get 'em.
