Sick save by Price

Wonder if Markov is hurt badly again, dont think they should resign this wet paper bag.

I'm starting to think maybe Markov get too tired later in games and perhaps pushes himself too hard (this being a final contract year and all). I may be wrong but I'm thinking perhaps he may be best at 20 minutes per game.

As a Habs fan, I'm starting to feel a bit edgy about him. He appears to get injured easily and he seems to take a long time to heal.

Until I hear/read an official statement from team doctors, I'm not buying it.
TSN is citing unconfirmed reports anyway. Who did they talk to? The waterboy?
Can't they wait a day until the official results of the MRI come in?

Your right, its not on RDS either

____in TSN

They did have an important announcement though just to remind anyone that forgot, the Leafs still suck ass :)

If the team finishes in the bottom 5 again, Toronto management will have to look into the Burke situation. He took an incredible gamble with Kessel. I also don't think Wilson is the ideal coach for the team. Whatever message he may be trying to send the team may not be reaching them. Then again, it can't be easy playing for a team who appears to be ready to trade anyone on it.

It's a shame as the team does have some talent.
There just doesn't seem to be any plan on the ice.

Even the video game NHL11 disagrees with Burkie's trading.:rotfl

Why does he "hate" Marc Savard? To what end?

Too bad about Kessel. He's a decent player. For some reason, the Bruins brass just never liked him. I remember he was benched by Julien during the Habs playoffs a few years ago. Kessle helped them take that series to 7. Had he played the whole series, who knows, the Bruins might have won.

Because apparently Campbell thinks how a player acts when he is brand new to the league and young is an indication of how he is forever. Also, because Savard is much better than his son.

The hate goes back to when Campbell coached the Rangers and Savard was a rookie. They didn't get along and planted the seeds for Colin's dislike which surfaced in the e-mails following the incident from the '07 game discussed. Campbell has a dubious past when it comes to decision making and Bruins anyway, but for it to be a petty personal thing makes it so much worse. It really reflects badly on the NHL.

As for Kessel, there was definitely lots of tension between him and Julien. Most of the reports at the time of the benching basically blamed Kessel's lack of openness to play a bit more defense which is pretty important in Julien's system. Kessel just never could develop himself into a two-way player in Boston, and still hasn't in Toronto. I still applaud Chiarelli for getting what he did in the trade.
