It would take a miracle for him to be back this year. If I'm not mistaken ACL + MCL is usually a good 6-9 month recovery time.
Tough game for the pens today. Of course at times it seemed like it was Wilkes Barre out there playing. Look like Green took that puck to his ear OUCH!!
I'll be curious to see if Shero pulls something off at the deadline now.

i love Foresberg and i loved the 90's Avalanche, but i just don't see him helping the team that much now.

Peter Forsberg's veteran leadership, experience, and history of winning big games will help aid a lot towards an otherwise very young inexperienced Avalanche roster in the dressing room, and on the bench. He's a great mentor player.
But despite M.I.A and being gone from the NHL game so long, I agree, it will be hard to see how effective he can be at this point of his career.
But in all fareness he did dominate in the SEL in 2009/10, which is very close to the AHL in terms of skill. He registered 30 points in 23 games, so perhaps playing in a small sampling during a stretch run might prove fruitful. I wouldn't even be surprised if he gets fixed into their top-six and puts up close to a point-per-game. Or he can be like fellow countryman Mats Sundin version 2.0 with the Canucks and fall flat on his face.
Remember, this man used to be the best player in the known hockey world. Even if for a short period.

Crazy game so far. I'm not sure why Price hasn't been pulled yet, maybe after this period.
The typical Habs moment was at the end of the first when Price knocked Lucic down to get him to retaliate. They draw the penalty and then Subban gets a few cheapies in since he's a tough guy after the whistle.
