Thankfully he's pulling the plug right away rather than languishing for the rest of the year. Still, too bad to see a player like that go out like this.:(

Philly just got better... and further cemented themselves as the team to beat in the East.

How did they pull this off? Amazing, you have to give credit where credit is due, Hlgrem sees this opportunity and is going for it

I just hope they don't pull a Caps and win all season then fail in the playoffs. If they make it to the cup this year I firmly believe they will win.

Dosent make sense for philly to make this deal this preety much garuntees that Philly is not going to sign Villi Leno, I think philly was fine but if they needed a area to upgrade it would probably be goaltending not a third liner philly has 3 solid lines as it is!

Last year showed you could actually win a cup with a second string goalie. If the Flyers remain healthy, other than maybe the Red Wings who have exquisite finesse, this looks like a Flyers year. Trade dealine day should be very interesting as teams will likely be getting players they think could help them beat the Flyers. Tough guy players who can score a goal or two are going to go for double premium, I think.

Ringo must be loving this.... lol

I want to fight the entire caps team at once.........I like my chances.

Well, that was probably the worst loss all season. If the 2 loses to Detroit didn't expose major problems with this team, tonight's game definitely did the job.

But hey, you added Chris Kelly :monkey1

And here I thought we already had him in the form of Gregory Campbell.:ohbfrank: At least with this move they can indirectly tell Seguin they have no confidence him playing center moving forward. He can have his 7 minutes of ice time and continue to not progress at the wing. Clode has done such a great job with him.

After all of the Kaberle talk yesterday, for that to be the big announcement after the game. It was just a tad underwhelming.

Career 30 point players who aren't known outright for being overly physical are great additions to anyone's team. lol You have your new PJ Axelsson. Good two-way forward.
