Pens are marching across Canada leaving a path of destruction in their wake. too bad Fleury almost blew the game last night. the only reason they held onto a 3 goal lead for so long was that the Pens defense wouldn't let the Flames get any shots on goal. it's sad when you're winning 4-1 but your opponent still has a better save percentage.

I went to the biggest season opener in hockey for the past 15 years. WOW! What a loud building. The Prime Minister was in (Steven Harper) and a bunch of other celebrities. The crowd was loud. I spoke to the Assistant GM (Craig Heisinger) in the concourse. He loved that I was still wearing a Manitoba Moose jersey. GOD, WHAT FUN!
I HAD A BLAST! Great intro. Nice tribute to Rick Rypien. It's too bad the home team had the jitters because they looked very sloppy and unorganized as a unit. Loved the standing ovation we, the fans gave them at the end of the game. The players even said for their performance, they receive boos. Instead they got a standing-O. Of course it's the first game and we're doing it as a thanks for NHL hockey back in our city. Plus, we Winnipeggers are all about the class. Unlike those Frenchies, Vancouverites, and Edmontonians. hehe

We're the only city who says "sorry" when we think we even came within a foot of a person. This is a _____ city. lol
Our license plates even read "Friendly Manitoba" on them and that's so true. We're a classy city and Province.
