Thanks, Gonna go with Langway or Hunter, but not sure yet.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I want the Crapitals to win. I said they were the team that could surprise in these playoffs. If Vancouver is officially knocked out, I told everyone at the beginning of the year this was the Cap's year to win the Cup. I like being right. So lets see if that actually happens. haha

I'll still be shocked if the Caps win this series.

This should make for an interesting summer. Clearly, the Pens need help in Defense. While it's obvious that Letang and Crosby were playing injured, I still think the Pens biggest weakness remains on defense, and of course, in goal. While MAF may shine at times, I would prefer someone much more consistent and less susceptible to brain cramps. That was one of the worst playoff goalie (and PK) performances I have seen in over 30 years. Sure, there enough blame to go around, as well as praise for the Flyers, however, I still think this should have been a Pens series. That being said, I can't see the Flyers going very far with Bryzy.

Red Wings, Penguins, and Sharks out. So far I am 0-3 in my playoff predictions. Sheesh.

I am telling you. Playoffs are a whole other thing. You can't predict playoffs. They never end up the way one thinks they should. Just because a team looks more favorable than the other, doesn't necessarily mean that team will win the series.

In this case I am still a strong believer that the Penguins are a superior team to the Flyers. They burned themselves by playing reckless, stupid, hockey. The better team doesn't always win. If you actually believe that, then you're out to lunch Badmoon. The Edmonton Oilers of 2006 were not better than a lot of teams. The following year where they failed to make the playoffs, dictates that. The fact a Penguins team with a 161 point Lemieux in 70 bames, a 149 point Jagr and a 119 point Francis, could lose to a Florida Panthers team in 1996, a Panthers team that was no where near the Pens in terms of success, the seasons before, during that regular season, and seasons after, can beat them. Is an explanation mark on that very idea.

Heck, lets go back to Carolina in 2006 when they won their Cup. They got by the skins of their teeth through a Buffalo series that they had no business winning. Had it not been for the onslaught of injuries to their defensive corps. I believe 5 of their top 6 were out at one point. Otherwise, that was Buffalo's year. Things play factors in it. Injuries, players playing hurt. Teams playing stupid hockey. Lets face it, suspensions, stupid penalties, and a poor PK, along with abysmal defence and goaltending beat us. But then again, Philly's defense and goaltending was abysmal as well. They just played a smarter game. Lesser talented teams can win by being the smarter of the two teams.

In the end, predicting playoff series outcome is a crapshoot. I said that at the time you set up the game risingstar, and this just further cements that thought.

Well, that blatant off sides that wasn't called against Philly in game 1 really came back to help the Flyers. Should be watching a game 7 on Tuesday night, but oh well. Apparently Philly DESERVED that series win.

This is one of the dumbest comments in this section yet if this is a serious post. :lol
