Isnt Saskatchewan's total population less than 400,000? And isn't every resident there a share owner of the Rough Riders because if they weren't they couldn't have a team to begin with?

Something to be said about that and a fan base. Not like a 2-3 ultra rich d-bag owner team...who's fans seem all to passionate to support and throw their money at.

BM went there. I didn't. But if he suggests ignorantly that PA fans are the best, then I'll go there. I know for a fact that a lot of places can make that argument.

Also, I don't care if I AM DEAD LAST in this playoff game. I said from the very get-go that the playoffs are a crapshoot to predict. Nobody could have predicted the way all those series would go. If this was a regular season pool or fantasy keeper league, I would be No. 1. Again, it's only one week. And where is BM in all his gloating? Oh right, he didn't want to play.

1. I said Province. Regina is the city they play out of.

2. Community owned perhaps, but I know a lot of Rough Rider fans who support the team outside of the city and within Manitoba who love the team... nobody gets a cut of the team. I don't know why one would bring that up, since at the end of the day the fan does not see it (the profits).

People in that Province, and even in the Province of Manitoba bleed the green. I have never seen anything like it until I saw the effect the new Winnipeg Jets have had on this city (Winnipeg), Province, and other parts of Canada.

I am happy for Phoenix. It definitely will draw more fans to games during their recent playoff run. In the end of the day, they'll be back to 6-7,000 in attendance come next Fall. What they need to do is build an arena in the heart of Phoenix vs. having it in Glendale. The commute to that suburb is a killer. Phx is a successful hockey market if done properly. The old arena used to sell well. It's all about location, location, location. There are a lot of retired Canadians that live down there. Due to the fact that, 1. Real estate is dirt cheap there, and 2. Some of us like to be warm vs. freezing our ***** in -30 C Canadian Winters. It's just about making things easier for people.

I don't draw a line because I don't care. I don't have to judge my fandom next to anyone else's. It's stupid and pointless. No, teams like Phoenix aren't going to have the same number of fans the Habs do. It doesnt mean the Yotes rabid fans aren't just as rabid as Habs rabid fans.

All fan bases have their die-hards and passive fans. How ridiculous is it to attack a rabid fan about the rest of his teams fan base? What's he supposed to do about it? Oh, you feel superior to him because your teams fan base is bigger or something? Who gives a crap?

I would love that. I root for the Panthers as well, so seeing them succeed in a such a disgustingly terrible market would bring a smile to my face.

The Bank Atlantic Center is a nice arena, and the Cats do have some diehard fans.

Hope they pull off a victory tonight.

Oh no, I agree. Again, I simply thought BM's post was a bit ignorant and narrow minded in his reasoning.

I do agree, that a Phoenix Coyote fan can be every bit as passionate as a Habs fan. Bigger fan base be dammed. But he wasn't attacking fans on an individual level, but as a whole, and that part you seem to be ignoring.
