I am a hardcore Devils fan and I have to give it to the Kings. They deserve it this year and are clearly the better team. Quick is unreal in net, he is reptilian looking and the Devs cant put it past him unless its off another player or a redirect. 2 goals in 3 games is just disheartening as a Devils fan. I'm happy the devils made it this far this year. It was very unexpected. (Happy they beat the Rangers though!)

Like Eli said, enjoy your first and only cup.

Sickens me to see the "celebrities" in the stands. Think they were there all season?

I agree with all you have said, I have been a Devil Fan since the late 80's I've seen the ups and downs. I tip my hat to the Kings, they are playing insane smart hockey and remind me a bit of the 95 Devils playoff run.

Two goals in three games won't win any championships. I don't think the Devils can even win one game at this point to save face. It was a fun unexpected ride!

After all the waiting and speculation the Canadiens are going give Michel Therrien another shot. Bon chance Montréal.:rotfl

It was probably so he could get his name on the Cup since he only appeared in 34 regular season games. Now that he's played 1 game in the Finals he's all set.

I remember seeing that day last summer when Richards and Carter were traded, and it felt surreal to me. This guys were supposed to be the core of this team for years to come. Both displayed killer offensive skills, and even though they like to party, ____ it. I remember reading articles where Jeff went to Holmgren personally asking if he was going to get traded, and he was answered with a no. It has finally grown on me that the two didn't have anything to do with being sent out of the Philly organization, and if it was up to them they would have stayed. They really showed true passion for the city, and were as shocked as the fans when the news hit. These guys deserve the cup as well as Simon, and I hope it becomes a reality. It would be a real slap in the face to the big wigs in Philly to see what they let go, and what they got in return. Don't get me wrong Bryz has his moments, but I would take Carter and Richards waaaaaaaay before him. Even though they are apart of a great team, they really shined in these playoffs.

Welcome to LA. There are some real Kings, Laker fans that are celebs, but come playoffs (especially the finals) or in the case with the Lakers high profile games they will flock to the games. I bet you saw a lot of them at Ducks games when they were in the finals and winning too.:lol

I have known for years that Alyssa Milano was a season ticket holder with the Kings and a long-time hockey fan. I never knew she was a season ticket holder since Luc Robitaille's rookie season. That was 1986-87!

Tim Robbins and Susan Surandon would go to the Rangers games for years. Now it's just Robbins. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn went to the LA Kings games for years. Heck, that's why he was adamant to portray Herb Brooks in the film Miracle in 2004. Big-time hockey fan. A lot of these celebs are the real deal. Also, who gives a ____? Oh yeah, you guys. :lol

It's called jeering the goalie. Fans in hockey do it to every goalie at every level. My friends and I jeered goalies in our building when we belonged to the AHL and we still do it as NHL season ticket holders. It's part of the game.

It's called taunting the goalie, you half-wit!

:lecture

It is kinda annoying to not be able to get tickets when your a fan(I am not a Kings fan at all) to games becasue celebs are buying them up yet have never seen a game all year.

Surprised? In my city, people don't give a ____ about the Blue Bombers unless they are winning. Bandwagon fans come in all shapes, sizes, ages, low and high income, famous or not. Why should the celeb world be any different? In the end they are just people like you and I.

Who is BLue Bomber?

Dont even ask...

CFL 9 league team (there are more teams in my beer leage soccer diviision), and two have the same name.

Tonights game Roughriders vs the Rough Riders.... sigh

As for Therrien, typical Habs move hire another french coach that will take you no where, what a joke

Ummmm that was years ago. lol There are no more Ottawa Rough Riders.

But yeah, I am not a big CFL fan either. However, it is huge in Canada.

I wouldnt say huge, but it does have a loyal fan base

See that Staal rumor on hockey buzz? Would you do it? I wouldnt

I think Staal is irreplaceable

It is huge. Maybe not in your part of the country, but in the other Provinces, hell yeah. Anyone who has been in the other major Provinces not Quebec, understands this to be fact.

Staal is staying a Penguin. Who was the best forward for us in the playoffs? Crosby? No. Malkin? No. It was Staal. And Shero is hellbent on making it happen that his services are extended. Keep in mind he's still under contract for another season.

It's not an abysmal choice. He can coach. Whatever the case, the reality is that if you want to work in Quebec, at least for the time being, speaking French is a must. People seem to forget that Quebec is 90% French. Not only that, there are so many laws in place which prohibit the teaching/learning and exposure to English, it makes complete sense as to why Quebecers demand a French coach.

I recommend you guys see the film The Rocket - The Maurice Richard story. It's a great little bit of history of Hockey in Quebec. I thnk you guys would really like the film.

Oh, I understand. I'm one of the few bilingual ones in my family, but of course I've lived down here in the States most of my life now. I don't see the drive to be bilingual among some of my older relatives, they speak French and that's good enough for them. They just don't see it as a necessity.

The Rocket is a great movie. I'd also give it a very high recommendation.

I know for a fact the Oilers came back from a 3-0 deficit to Carolina, but ended up losing the Cup in Game 7. NJ has a very small chance... 1.8 percent someone had posted on the HF forums. lol

Quebec is a very beautiful Province. I did a nice scenic trip there. My favourite part was the Îles de la Madeleine. I went to a wedding there.

Montreal (especially old Montreal) and Quebec City are gorgeous as well.
