Not always...

Well c'mon, you can't fault RoboBandAid Boy. He looked very promising the year he signed that contract. He looked like he was evolving into a very capable top netminder in the NHL. Unfortunately injuries have taken a toll on his career. It's no slight on the man's talent or skillset. He just has not been fortunate when it comes to health. And it was a very shortsighted signing that no one player deserved to be signed to. Not even Sidney.

Chalk it up to both bad luck and mediocre GMing. From Mike Milbury to Garth Snow, c'mon? Gotta love the Wang Show! Very bad GM'ing there folks. You go from Mike to a guy who was basically a sub-par backup that same season.... What do you expect?

Being injured also means being on the shelf, also means lost development. So he'll never be the goalie was once billed to become. I don't think it's a good example. Daniel Blackburn could be thrown into the same pile as Rick DiPietro. Super talented goalies with huge potential, wasted by career deprecating or ending injuries.

Wow, being a season ticket holder gives good benefits. I use to watch the Kings practice and get their autgraphs when they are done. They are a bunch of good guys.

I am a season ticket holder with the NHL Winnipeg Jets. Guess I don't need to throw the "NHL" in there, but I just love saying that my city is back on the NHL map! :yess:

4 seats together baby! Those were not easy to get, but I got them because I was a Manitoba Moose season ticket holder! 9,000 waitlist now. They say there is now a waitlist for the waitlist. :yess:

Love and support my hockey at any level! Don't care what it is! I just freaking love this sport!

the Cloutier jersey we won in an auction but yes it was nice being a season ticket holder. The meet and greet alone was worth it. Hockey players are the best guys to their fans in any sport.

Nice! The Kings do the the meet and greet or "tip a king" once a year too. I think hockey is the only sport that has practice open to the public.

The Kings won again last night. The game got a little heated after the Burgenheim hit on Richards. I thought the Panthers would catch up towards the end but the Kings held their ground.

GO KINGS GO!!!!!

Florida is one of those surprising teams...it's like someone taught them how not to give up this year

your smiley says it all...he hit the wall

And like all the great elite scorers of the past, like your Teemu's and your Pavel's, he'll bust through that wall. I never laugh at struggling seasons from players like Ovi, because time goes by quickly. This will be rectified and he'll be right back on track.

Leafs got ____ on again by the big bad Bruins. They better get their ____ together soon or they will be tits up come playoff time.

Rick Dipietro out again with a pulled groin and Marc-Andre Fleury saves the day for the win. XD

The Leafs are what they are - a plus skating, dangerous offensive team that is weak defensively. They're a playoff team IMO (goal differential against the Bruins: -17; rest of the schedule: +13), but they need to improve a lot in their own end before they can do any real damage.
