Big night for Lupul and Schenn threw a couple nice hits tonight too, Gustavsson has to stay in net from now on.
That was a nice hit by DP! However nothing matches the hit by Scott Stevens on Slava Kozlov

Luke Schenn had 10 hits in his last game and had his 6th point in 5 games. Give the guy some PP time! He's earned it! He was the only NHLer last year to have 200+ hits (251 which led all NHL dmen) and a 160 blocked shots (team leading 168).
If he can limit the turn overs, he would be the perfect dman!

Scehenn wasn't the only NHLer with 200+ hits in 2010-2011. In fact he was #8 on the list of the most hits last season. He did lead all NHL defensemen with 251 over Matt Greene with 243 but Cal Clutterbuck once again led the NHL with 336 hits. Schenn's giveaway numbers are pretty atrocious though with 95 last year (worst among defensemen)

I said he led all NHL dmen in hits and was the only player to have over 200 hits with 160 blocked shots.
*shakes head*
I am well aware other players had over 200 hits. And right, I also said if he could work on his turn overs, he would be arguably one of the better dmen in the league. Throw some PP time, a lil' refinement in certain areas and he's a future Norris candidate. Keep in mind he's only 22, and last year at 21, he put up 22 points on zero PP time. Kid is turning into something special.

Based on the fan's idiotic and simpleton-isque comments, I believe Sean Avery handled himself well. Normally I am not one to appreciate what the guy does, but it sounded like the fan got what was coming to him. Now if the same fan who made those idiotic comments threw that on youtube, would make him even more ridiculous than he already is. I hope it was the same fan. lol

I am slowly becoming a Sean Avery fan. Not the player, but the guy. He makes the game fun and interesting outside of the way the game is played.

The guy?, no way...i mean sometimes he can score a nice goal and draw penalties but, dude has a weird fashion obsession and all the rest of the ____ spewing he does constantly..guy just sawwwwwks.
I think once i found out he was from Pickering then it became a little more clear as to why the guy is the way he is, not to knock all people living in the Durham region.
Avery thinks he possesses this classy standard of living while ____ting on others but, in reality he's just gahhbage.
