Don't need to trade tickets for that. Fleury leaves one in the rafters of every arena he plays in.

Frankly, I'm glad the Habs finally have a D-man who makes opposing players think a bit more before entering his side of the ice.
This guy is going to be an awesome player and the envy of most teams in the league.

The Pens announcers call him "PK Slewban".:lol

Who they would love to have on their team.

Kidding aside, P.K. is hitting harder than I remember. He's getting stronger, braver along the boards, and his shot is getting faster and more accurate. Sure, he pisses Habs' fans off too from time to time but there's no denyying the evolution of this 22 year old second year player. Having had the benefit of watching every game he played since entering the NHL, I can safely say this guy is going to be a fabulous player. ...I want Gautier off the team before he trades him for a third rounder we'll never use.

Believe me, when he is playing like ass I'm not afraid to call him out on it. Like last season when he let in the first shot in almost every game for a good stretch there. However, I don't know what game you guys were watching last night. If it wasn't for Fleury we would not have had a chance to go to the shootout at all. Goal 1, blown D coverage by Letang. Goal 2 was on Fleury, he honestly makes me nervous anytime he leaves the crease.

That being said, the rest of the game he was rock solid. The Habs had multiple chances to put the game away and Fleury stood on his head when he needed too. There were defensive breakdown all over the place. He may give up the occasional bad/soft goal or he may have the occasional bad game. THEY ALL DO - get over it. He has been lights out most of the year. I don't know if I would put him at the top of the list for goalies this year, but he's definitely in the top 3 without question. Is he worth his 5 million salary - hell yeah.

If I were to be concerned about anything with the Pens it would be 1. Our D pairing of Martin and Z. THAT is a performance not worthy of their salary. 9 or 9.5 between the two. bleh.. Secondary scoring would be the other concern, but Staal returning should help and if 87 comes back (and stays healthy) we will be fine.

He isn't good at playing the puck. Even I'll admit that, but miserable start aside last season and save a few games here and there he has been arguably the MVP of this team many a night, just as Malkin has.

Open your eyes folks! Even HF posters have come around and are saying how great MAF has been. Every game I seen from Fleury I have been very happy with his game. I have seen bad games, so it's not to say he's perfect, but the games I seen, and some haven't looked as great as others, he usually has been the reason why we have atleast were in the game. I missed the 5-2 Devils loss.... so I can't speak for that game. Prax, how did he look?

Prax I agree with some of what you said, mainly the defensive woes and breakdowns. But to say Fleury kept them in it, is ike saying, "I take care of my kids". Im supposed to take care of my kids and Fleury at 5 million is supposed to keep them in it. Its one thing to get beat repeatedly glove side and its another to let in a banana like he did last night and has done quite often in his career (see playoff series against the Habs) Fleury doesnt crack teh top 10 in the top three goalie categories aside from wins, and when you have Malkin/Neal for almost the whole year, thats w/o counting Crosby's 8 games and the games Staal played, you should have some wins.

DID/DOES he have the skills to be a top 3 in the league, for sure. Will he ever, no chance, its whats between his ears that keps him from it.

Oh I forgot, ____ Subban, i wouldnt take that POS on my team anyday he sucks and hope someone beats the ____ out of him

That was most of my point though. I'm not going on seasons past I'm talking about this year and actually he was pretty damn good last year considering the injuries we had. He did his job last game and has done a pretty good job this season. He kept them in the game. Some of the comments I read on here makes it seem like someone could shoot a beach ball past him 9 out of 10 times.

Like I said he isn't perfect, but he's been earning his dough this season in my opinion. Martin on the other hand.... :gah:
