Chicago doesn't look like anyone can't beat them right now. And as a matter of opinion best jersey in sports

You're right on that. There's so much talent up and down that roster. Truly, these are the golden years for the Blackhawks fanbase with many years to come. Look out for the Wild in that division because they are on the rise with a mix of young and veteran talent. But the road to the Cup will always go through Chicago.

Right on that jersey too. Damn finest in the league.

No team is unstoppable. As much talent as the Hawks have, they were outplayed in most of the games against the Wild. At least 2 of the Hawks wins could have easily gone the other way. Crawford was the major difference in the last 2 games. However, they are finding a way to win even when they aren't playing well. The competition level will keep going up from here. If the Hawks want to repeat, they can't rely on Crawford to keep bailing them out when they don't play well in front of him.

You are so right about the jersey. It's not just the best jersey in hockey, but in all of sports as far as I'm concerned. I'm just so glad that this team finally started winning. All of Chi-town can wear there Hawks gear will pride. I still can't believe how much of a change there has been in this organization since Rocky took over. I don't think anyone saw this turnaround coming. Next round should be fun. I'm hoping LA pulls out the win in game 7. It would be nice to have home ice for the WCF.

Hey NAZ, how are ya bud? Been keeping up with the ghost shows lately? I really need to dig up that old thread. Been some new updates I should report on. :)

I've fallen behind a bit with GA recently and have 'em on the DVR but we're planning on knocking them out this weekend. Yeah, that thread was a blast - I wouldn't mind seeing it resurrected.

It's the best in hockey no doubt, but I'd give an edge to Red Sox home whites in all sports. Yeah I'm a homer.:)

The Blackhawks have been a great franchise to watch for the last 5-7 years. I wonder how much of this turnaround is the result of the passing of old "Dollar" Bill Wirtz? I'm still shocked the Bruins won a cup with our old curmudgeon owner still kicking.

LA/Chicago would be a great WCF. I'd probably pull for the Hawks. Out of the teams left they'd be my pick take it all. In the end I'd love to see Captain Serious hoist the cup and skate it around the Bell Centre.

Shero fired... I actually liked him... Made solid trades and made some decent draft selections. Didn't like his loyalty with the new team. Disco Dan still has a job? I heard the new GM will decide his fate. In which case I hope it's giving him a right good ol' kick.

That's a huge part of it. Rocky Wirtz has done so much to get the Hawks back in the spotlight and bring the Cup back to Chicago. Bill Wirtz used to have the games blacked out on TV here to fill the stands at the stadium.:slap:lol

For real. If Dollar Bill were still kicking we still wouldn't be able to see home games on TV. Rocky has done an amazing job since taking over the franchise. I guess this is a case where the apple did fall far from the tree. :lol

Well, bring on the Kings. I'm ready for Sunday afternoon. Nice to have home ice. Go Hawks!

I didn't see that coming either, can't imagine bumbling Bylsma makes it into another season

These random games happen. I wouldn't put too much stock into it right now. If anything it does make things interesting. How is Montreal going to respond?

Nice win for the Hawks. Better zone time and Crawford played well yet again. Still have to do a better job of generating SOG but it's great to get the 1st game in the bag.

I hope Pierre McGuire had enough time to check his notes so he can tell the world what pee-wee team Dustin Tokarski played for.

I'm surprised they're skipped Budaj. Tokarski hasn't played in over a month with Hamilton missing the AHL playoffs.

I know coming in for mop up duty isn't the same as starting, but they didn't exactly skip over Budaj. They just decided his 62% SP in game 1 wasn't that impressive.

Not impressive at all. Last night can't be put on Tokarski. I think the Habs had about a dozen quality scoring chances, but Lundqvist was just there to answer them.

These playoffs are losing my interest. If the Rangers win, good for St. Louis. He's the only guy outside of Moore I care about on that team. They both have lost important women in their lives. I feel for them and want to see nothing but good things for them. Having said that I simply can not stand the Sather era Rangers.

Gotta admit that I didn't see 6 unanswered goals coming in this game. Pretty strong first 2 periods by the Hawks and then everything unraveled. Hopefully the Hawks bounce back on Saturday.
