Nice delayed response from Plek. Oh wow... that is bad. I watched the game at the gym, but didn't good a nice close view of that in slow-mo. Thanks! Now I know what people were complaining about.

Yeah, this was difficult to pick-up on a smaller TV, but this was what all the complaints were about. Good stuff. :)

Amazing how Henrik drops the stick to get the blocker up to save a go ahead goal :clap

Can't believe this is looking like a NY-LA cup final.

I'm rooting for the B-Hawks.....merely because I can't stand most of the kings.
Too bad about Montreal. Boston would have beat em...if it werent for the backpocket refs

Nice Man! :duff We were lucky to get to a couple game this year thanks our son's hockey team. We got to go to the Home Opener/Banner Raising and my son got to play a game on the Hawks ice a couple hours before the Big game -plus he scored on a sweet breakaway which was nice. We also got to go to the Stadium Series game at Soldier Field which was an awesome experience even though I don't think I was ever that cold for so long.

Can't wait till tomorrow night, but man it's gonna be tough. Hawks need to keep their momentum and they are definitely gonna have their hands full. I totally agree with what was said after the 1st period about Crawford getting too emotional. The Kings are already in his head and it's gonna be ten times worse tomorrow night especially after that incident Monday when he threw water at someone in the stands. The Kings fans are really gonna be on him and our defense better be top notch.

That's cool Nazgul. My buddy went to the Banner Raising game too. Unfortunately, no extra tix for that one so I watched it on TV. I'm not going to complain though, my buddy's wife is so incredibly good to me and my wife. She gets tix to a bunch of Hawks, Bulls, and Bears games through her job and has treated me and my wife to a whole slew of games already. I'm just incredibly grateful whenever I get a call from my buddy and he asks...'what are you doing for the game today?' After he asks that, my next question is...do I need to find babysitters? :lol

That must have been an incredible experience watching your son play on the ice. To have him score on a breakaway must have been phenomenal to see. My oldest son is just now getting into hockey. He's asking all the right questions about the game. it's super fun seeing him trying to grasp the game on his own. He's just 6 but I love that we can watch games together.

As for tonight, the whole team is going to have their hands full. Crawford does have to be sharp but our D and PK need to step it up a notch or 2 as well in order for us to have a shot at a game 7. The D has to clear the crease and not let the Kings just set up shop there. That will go a long way in having Crawford play well tonight. Also, the Hawks can't give the Kings all those scoring binges they go on. They can't afford to have 3+ unanswered goal every game. If the Kings do that tonight, the season is over.

Well, let's see how the game goes tonight. I'm hoping for a game 7. Given the nature of these 2 teams, I think we'd be in store for an epic battle.

That's awesome, it's always good to have connections.:duff

Yeah, he had a blast. He started playing right after he turned four, and in the four years that he's been playing this was definitely a milestone . He got to go by the Hawks dressing room and they got to get ready in one of the visitor ones where they each had a spot with their name on it just like the Blackhawk players. With all the behind the scenes stuff he saw, he was most impressed seeing the Zamboni's in the garage - that's an eight year-old for ya.:lol It was really weird being in the UC at 2 in the afternoon and only having like 100 people in there.

At least this isn't a new situation for the Hawks - they seem to turn it up for games like this. I agree that the defense really needs to keep the pressure off Crawford though. They can't afford to fall behind, they need to strike first and set the pace for the game.

HOLY PATRICK KANE! When he shows up the Hawks win. As much as I should be rooting for the guy who once lived a few blocks from me (Toews), No. 88 is definitely the MVP on this team. And it's not even close.

Bring on game 7!

WOW! JUST...WOW! This is playoff hockey. We are celebrating my sons 7th birthday on Sunday afternoon. We asked him what superhero birthday cake he wanted and he said...I want a Blackhawks cake. :yess: My crib is going to be a mad house on Sunday. My whole family and my closest friends will all be staying to watch the game. I can't believe it. Game 7. GO HAWKS!
