Game 7 on his 7th b-day, that's great
Especially if the Hawks can pull out a W.
Game 7 on his 7th b-day, that's great
The people in LA were already celebrating after going ahead as if they were going to the finals. Hell, they were acting like that on here. Never count out the hawks. I think the winner of this series takes it all. This series is like a finals series going on right now. My hawks finally scored on a PP, which they so needed. Kane is getting going on a great line with shaw and game 7 in Chicago is going to be crazy. LA is going to need to play some good hockey. Giving up the lead like that at home and losing late in the 3rd could carry over, lets hope it does. Go hawks.
I'm not the biggest hockey fan, but I love the intensity of the games during playoffs. I can watch those games all day.
I sure would like to see that, although, the last time they won, the fans went ape-$h1t and started flipping police cars and setting civilian cars on fire. Oh wait... those were the Lakers fans.
Shaw and Kane on the same line is working. However, Saad is a BEAST on that line with them. He's the one (along with Kane) that had a major impact on the last few games.
Congrats to the Kings
Good luck to the Kings. Go and get that cup.
Playing pretty vs. making the simple move (shot on net), will burn you at this stage. Time is critical. Hockey is such a fast thinking game, that a lot of those fancy plays require pre-planning, and that takes time. Time you don't have much of in this sport. That was the problem with then Winnipeg Jet Alex Burmistrov, he would always try to dazzle you with his amazing skating and stick handling abilities, only to hold onto the puck too long, and make himself predictable where the puck was going. He was the turnover king. All he had to do was dumb down his game and make a simple play. He's smart and capable enough to do that. I know these talented players like to separate themselves from the norm, but it will burn you more often than not, especially in a Stanley Cup Final game. Teams don't get there by just sheer luck. They get there by having good systems in place and having smart players that execute them. It's the same frustrating thing I have to go through watching Crosby and Malkin out there. The amount of no look behind passes made to nobody was abundant to the point it would cost us turnovers, and who knows, maybe even a goal from the opposition.
If you're a talented player, save your fancy schmancy skills for the regular season, and even then I would save that for the practises. It maybe less prettier, but it won't cost you and your team as a result. So I understand your frustration. I had to endure it quite a bit with my two favourite teams with guys like the aforementioned.
