Quebec and Las Vegas in the third phase of getting a team? Chances looking good we may have those as new site locations for teams for the 2016/17 season.

I want this one pretty badly. Centre Videotron looked pretty impressive from the outside when I saw it 2 weeks ago while I was on vacation in QC. I wish I had been there for the open house this past week. The people are definitely ready to have their Nords back.

Wow, things just took a very strange turn in the Kane investigation. The rape kit in the investigation was left at the alleged victims mother's house. Right at her door. I've never even heard of something like this happening before. This is just crazy.

I don't know what is going on with the NHL, before you rarely hear about a player getting in trouble with the law. Now we hear it way more often. Granted social media keeps us more connected with everything.

After what I heard this morning, I'd be shocked if Kane's case gets taken in front of a grand jury. What a circus this has turned into.

Like I said, he's going to get absolved of this nonsense

If I was him, I'd seriously consider suing her for defamation if the events that have unfolded the last few days are true. What that woman's mom did was reprehensible and there's no way the daughter didn't know about it. This whole thing just reeks of a scam perpetrated by the "victim" and her less than honest mother.

Just kick Torres out of the league, like after a 41 game suspension he will have job...

I agree. Torres is never going to change. I don't know what the NHL is waiting for. He's a head hunter, plain and simple. How much more damage will the NHL let him do before someone is seriously injured and can't walk away from one of his dirty hits?

Agreed, I've never liked Torres. Granted he's a lot worse, but he fit right in with the Canucks while under Vigneault. I couldn't stand that team with the likes of Torres, Burrows and Bieksa, to name a few. I thought that team was extremely dirty.

Slava Voynov possibly being deported.

Patrick Kane on the possible move?

All this and more.... NHL season commences in 30 days! DUN DUN DUN!

I wonder if the Kings and Avs are still going to have their annual Frozen Fury in Vegas if Vegas ends up getting a franchise?

Season starts tomorrow for the Kings against the Sharks at Staples. GKG!

Last night lived up to every negative expectation I had for the Bruins.

Good thing they only have the Habs and Bolts up next. I doubt Claude makes it out of October.

It's only 1 game. Still 81 left. As usual, the Kings stunk it up on their home opener also.

I am surprised though that CJ hasn't gotten purged from Boston yet.

He's not the issue, so why pay him to sit at home?

The team is in th rebuild years, going to be a long season for you G

Could be for me also, Pens looked like the same old Pens last night

A lot of times, they (coaches) aren't. But someone's head has to roll. I'm not saying he should be fired, just that I'm surprised he hasn't since they're usually the first to blame being that they tend to be the easiest scapegoat. However, I'm not privy of what the details of his contract are or how much he has left on it.

SJ had a coaching change by opting not to re-sign TM and signed DeBoer instead. I could be wrong, but I don't see them being anything other than the same Sharks this season than what they have been in previous recent seasons.

I generally give it about 25 games before I start assessing how good or not a team looks for that season.

My best friend picked up some free tix to the Hawks game and took me with him last night. Kane was amazing. He's just on fire so far this year. If he stays healthy and keeps up this pace, he's going to have a special year.

Yeah, the NHL All-Star break has kind of gotten to be a joke lately (like others). I enjoy the skills competition more than the actual game itself.

I honestly thought the Hawks would struggle to incorporate all the new players they acquired this year. I never gave a serious thought that they would be able to defend the cup this year. However, this team is starting to gel pretty well together and it looks like they can make a serious run in the playoffs this year. Bowman's moves this year really seem to have panned out.
