This is more like it......Pens with a PP advantage of 5-1. Now we're talking a Caps vs Pens NHL series.

Cmon dude, they deserved everyone of those penalties, the refs even gave you a free one in that leang call that everyone on national tv said was ******** and that led to the goal

The problem for the Caps is exactly what you said in the next post, they think they only have to play 20 mins and can win

I just think as fans, we shouldn't rip on guys that are from our team, especially when they have been good. Did I hurt your feelings? At least Kit is a passionate fan who yes, may whine a lot, and be even a bit much (even like myself), but I love his passion. He cares a lot about the stuff he likes. The reason I bring him up, because despite his annoying awkward moments (yes, I have them to, at least I am man enough to admit it), he's a good guy deep down. And he doesn't talk like the person can't read what they say... so say it to me... oh yeah, but you're behind a computer. Grrr Look at you go.

Tell you what, for any of you guys who don't like what I have to say, ignore me. Use the ignore option. That easy. Because I won't stop being the passionate knowledgeable fan I am. And if you keep me to a point were you continue to read my posts and get upset by them, then that's your own problem.

Relax Kit, it's a 1-1 series with each game being decided by 1 goal. This can go to the Caps favour or the Pens favour. Not like either team has been dominating this series.

If the Caps were playing any other team I'd agree. It's the Pens and they just have the Caps number throughout history. We just can't beat them due a bounce here, a post there or whatever else.

I am only a know-it-all (not really), but I do know a lot, when it comes to hockey. I can't help it that I know a lot. I love the game and am passionate about it. But really, what does knowing all about hockey even really mean? Probably more to me than it does to others. And I wouldn't say that people don't talk to me Gates... Deeznutz responds, as does Kit. In fact everywhere I go people respond to me, as do you. The only reason it looks like they don't, because I post a lot. Probably more than I should, but don't make up inaccurate stories. People do talk to me. But I do agree, I can get on people's nerves. But I think it's fair to say we all can...

And you can't dispute what I said is true... look harder. You responded. Kit responded. Deeznutz responds. Others respond. When I am in the other sections I post in, they respond as well. I have lots of people on here who like and respect me, and others who could do without me in their lives. It's called being human ... you can't win everyone over.

And I am not a know-it-all.. but I do know a lot, which you can't refute... you can try, but again, it wouldn't be accurate.

You made this a personal attack on me... Deeznutz and myself, we get along.. we sometimes disagree and bump heads. What people do, even as friends and family members that love each other. I feel like a broken record here, but fine, I'll go there again, I only had an issue with him attacking one of our players... because I don't think it's just. Like your comment made about me. Keep in mind, you started this. You made a negative comment about me. I have not once discussed you at all, despite others being on you. Which is accurate, in fact. Since we're going there.

And you can post your rolling eyes emoticons all you want, but it won't bother me, because I know who I am. I am not perfect. I get on people's last nerves at times. I can admit to when someone says something that is accurate, but not everything you said was.

I agree. I can't dispute the facts. Historically speaking, the Penguins have had the Capitals number. Having said that, is it not fair to say history changes and that trends don't always continue... even long ones? What was then, isn't now. Those past series have no barring on the outcome of this series. Only the players on the deciding teams in the series do. Why should a person be accused of stealing today, when there is no refutable evidence that he/she did, simply because he/she may have stolen in the past ... we'll say years ago. We'll make it over 10 years. Sure, there is a chance he/she can repeat their past mistakes, but who they were in yesteryear, should not define who they are today. So why should a Caps 7-1 series record define their team today? Those were past teams. In fact the last time these two teams met up, was 7 years ago. A lot can change in that period of time. This isn't last week. And we can't use the idea the Pens beat the Caps in their regular season series, because the year the Pens beat the Caps in the last playoffs, was the year the Caps took them in a clean 8-0 slate during that regular season.

The series = 1-1. The goals fore and against are =. This can go either way. I see it going to seven games. Who wins it, is anyone's guess.

Caps: Have a deeper D.

A veteran goalie with experience.

Great scoring depth up front.

Very physical. In fact more-so than Pittsburgh.

Pens: They possess the two best centermen in the league for the past decade. Their individual awards, achievements, and the fact they have the two highest point-per-game averages in the NHL since the 2004/05 lockout, supports this.

They are a faster team. So physical against speed. You need both in the playoffs. They are the best in their own defining areas.

They are finally getting depth scoring.


Both teams have good coaching right now.

I don't think either team has a big advantage over the other in this series.
