Oh yeah, and since I haven't brought it up yet, Patrik Laine had a whopping 3 point game today and looked sensational. Finished one play he created. Kid is going to be a franchise winger and my Winnipeg Jets will most likely end up getting him! <3

Doesn't matter how close each game was. All that matter is the the caps are perennial losers.

Not really a hockey fan, but being a DC area resident, it does suck that the Caps fail miserably in the playoffs every year. I can't stand Washington's NFL team, and the Wizards aren't really a threat to win the championship, so it's up to the Caps and the Nationals (who also seem to fail in the playoffs) to carry a dreams of the Washington, DC area winning a major sporting championship...(yes, DC United has won the MLS Championship, but let's be honest, MLS is still behind the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL)

I stopped caring about the Redskins years ago. I like the Nats, but haven't been passionate about baseball since the 90s. Basketball doesn't exist to me so all I have is the Caps and after 30 plus years of this cap I'm just about done with them too.

Man, Bishop gets carted off in the 1st. He had a tough time with injuries in the playoffs last year. I hope he recovers quickly. Tampa showed up big in this game.
