Sorry dude, why can't you just say it?Fleury played like **** and most likely we won't bounce back.

When it was 2-0 and he made that crazy save, I was all set to praise for stepping and getting us the win, then he lets in that seeing eye shot.

The Pen are ****ed now, you play fleury and they lose, can you ever bring him back next year? You start Murray and they lose, everyone will say you should have played MAF

I say you go back to Murray and let you offence win for you and sav MAF for next year

Fleury hasn't played hockey in two months save a period where he saw light action. I don't blame him.. I blame the coach for putting him in there when he did. I can see when it's silly to put down a guy who has rust in a big serious game.

So no... you'll have to accept that as my response, because I won't give you the satisfaction. :)

That may have worked in the Burke / Nonis days, but (and this is a weird thing to say) Leafs ownership is too smart for that now.

Have them give Dallas a call - why not make it an even $15 million they're paying goalies?

Toronto won't go for it.. As cokebabies said, this is a Shanahan, Lou team now. And I hear Calgary a lot. And it's nothing against Fleury. Neither is this a cap issue. This is an expansion issue. Who you keep. You keep your young goalie who's on an ELC vs. the guy who will be 32 later this year making 5 million-plus. It's a business wise decision that I agree with.

2 sure things in life, death and the Pens will have a big advantage in PPs when it matters most.

Man, this team is so tough to match up against. Our third line won it for us last night. Well, that and great defence. Guys have really stepped up in place of Trevor Daley. Even that 4th line has 15 points together. That's what happens when you put a 19 goal scorer last year with a 16 goal scorer this year. Both guys (Fehr and Cullen) can still challenge for 15-20 goals.

San Jose is scary good, but I think the Penguins are superior. Albeit, by a smidge. But it should be enough to get it done in another seven games.

Very true, but they were outshot 23-11 at one point in this game. SJ needs to tighten up ship if they want to win this series. But yes, a loss at home may seal their fate.

Ya but I think they hit three posts, just don't want the pens to take the next game lightly

Pens did what they had to do and won at home to keep home ice. Sharks will have to do the same if they want to make this a series.

Pens had the lead for a while, even controlled the game and had it in their favour. But SJ scored two big goals to win it. If Pittsburgh takes Game 4, it is lights out for San Jose. If they don't, as the guy above me said, it's a best of 3 series. And at that point it's anyone's guess who takes it. But it seems as though home advantage helps... if that's the case, Pittsburgh has two more and they already have two wins, so.... I know, dur... obvious.

Tonight could be a VERY interesting turning point. If the Pens take the next game, it's over. But if the Sharks win game 4 I think they take it all. Especially because Murray looked very questionable tonight.

I know he had a rough screen, but how did he not even realize the puck had been shot? Wards goal was horrible. And the OT was a case of a goalie playing a robotic style - the reverse VH burned him badly there.

Tonight, Murray looked like Fleury on one of Fleury's bad nights - he would make a number of absolutely amazing saves, where you think "how did he get to that?" But then let in a handful of turds.

I don't like the Pens, but if they win it all it's cool with me because I've loved the Murray story. But tonight was a big whiff.

This was a HUGE win for the Sharks. They had to have it but the next game is just as important to the Sharks. A 3-1 hole doesn't look much better than a 3-0 deficit. Regardless of what happens in game 4, I think the Pens have this.Their 5 on 5 play has been excellent and they are out shooting the Sharks on a regular basis. I don't see that changing. The only reason the Sharks aren't in a 3-0 hole is because of their power play. It's been lethal for the entire playoffs. If the Pens stop going to the sin bin, they'll have a great opportunity to wrap this up pretty quickly. All that said, these have been tight games and fun to watch. This is now the 3rd straight game decided by a goal. Looking forward to game 4.

Yeah, I hate the penalties... hurts my team's chances. So annoying. I remember when they showed Crosby getting back at a player for roughing him up... and the commentators saying you do that, you put yourself in a bad position. Skate away. You are much better for it. This isn't a regular season game. This is for all the chips... 2 games away from Lord Stanley's Cup and you're letting them to get under your skin like that... that does annoy me.
