What a game 1. Only 12 shots on goal, but 5 goals scored by the Pens. Preds definitely came to play in game 1. Too bad their goalie didn't. Murray was solid enough in net to seal the W but Pens have to play better overall if they want to win this series.

If the Pens don't pick up their game and Rinne picks up his, despite the Pens being up 1-0, that could quickly change.

Without a doubt. As I said, the Preds definitely played well enough to win, but Rinne didn't show up. However, it says a lot when a team has such a poor showing but manages to win the game anyway. Murray was a bit sharper than Rinne. That was the biggest difference in game 1. On to game 2.

OK, on to Nashville. Let's see if playing at home helps the Preds GAA or will they be one game away from a sweep?

Rinne showed up for Game 3. I feel like if he continues to show up the Preds still have a chance in this thing.

One thing I can guarantee: I had to get up at 2:45 this morning to bring my daughter to the airport, and I wasn't able to get back in time to get any more sleep before heading to work for the day. Therefore, I can guarantee that tonight's game will go to 3OT :rotfl

Best 2 out of 3. First team to lose at home has something to worry about. Pens better hope Rinne isn't all settled in now.

Don't think he is the problem, the Pittsburgh offence is

Thus year the Preds are dictating the pace, can't see the Pens coming back

Yeah, the Pens O has been very spotty at times. Preds D is no joke either. That all said, if Pens can continue to scratch out wins at home, they're still in it.

Pens having their way on O tonight so far. They are getting through the neutral zone cleanly and getting to the net. Sid is stepping up just like your best player should. I'm with Eli. I think this series goes 7 and the home teams win all their home games. So, I'm calling Pens in 7.

Preds really do look terrible tonight all around. Wow.
I know they can win in Pittsburgh, but it certainly won't be tonight. I'm sticking with Preds in 7.

Man, that was a straight up smack down the Pens delivered. Let's see if that championship pedigree shows up in game 6 or we'll get a game 7. I'm hoping the Pens find a way to steal one in Nashville.

I still see a Game 7. These teams seem to dominate at home.

But the Predator fans almost want me to see Nashville win. You see how much numbers they got when they won the WCF and the craziness in that town for each game in these SCF games, and then you see Pittsburgh.... and it's like, disappointing.

I did say almost. Key word almost.
