What the hell Nintendo? I used to say you should just become a software company but now your software sucks as much as your hardware. How the giant has fallen.

Nintendo dropped the ball started off great with pikmin 3 tha tgame looks amazing but nintendo is poorley marketing the wiiu they showed nothing for hardcore gamers no online. I really wanted this but as of right now im not getting this still is the same old kiddy crap.

Yep, nothing for the hardcore at all. I hope they don't think Batman is hardcore. They didn't even have anything else from Ghost Recon Online which is an exclusive for them. They didn't even show the flipping interface of the WiiU?

Explain why you think it was good?

To me--the Pikmin game is OK, I'm sure lots of people will like that. Mario is crap, looks like tons of other Mario games (the 3DS looks exactly the same). The third party games are multiplatform and many have been released for a while now. None of the games are using the controller much. Dance game and singing game are crap, no one cares about those.

Besides that--the Wii U doesn't look any better than other consoles, and they didn't talk about any multiplayer.

I for one expected more. They showed Pikmin 3, that's great. Aside from that, there weren't any surprises that core gamers cared about. Sure, they showed the two New Super Mario Bros. games, but we've seen variations on those before. Then they showed Batman, which doesn't seem much improved over the 360/ps3 versions, and the WiiU gamepad doesn't radically alter the gameplay in any way.

Zombi-U was a cg sizzle reel that felt like what they did for Red Steel all the way back in 2006.

Then they showed us two 3DS games that we already knew about: Luigi's Mansion and Paper Mario.

What else was there besides all of these known quantities? Wii Fit U? Just Dance? NINTENDOLAND, which they didn't even demo to us to show the functionality of the Wii-U controller?

This conference was a failure and they failed to show what significant impact the Wii-U would bring to the gaming market.
