The trailer looks good. It showed too much, but I'm not going to a JB film for surprises or a great story. The villains look kind of weak and repetitive and the new black female Bond is just a rehash of Halley Berry in Die Another Day. Honestly, the only new character that looks interesting is Anna de Armas, but unfortunately, it looks like the film will focus more on Bond's boring ass girlfriend and the Haley Berry 2.0. Blofeld sounds as boring as he did in Specter and still acting like he's got some kind of upper hand after getting caught is just silly. :dunno

Twitter says Tom Hardy is the next Bond. Seems a bit early to be coming out with this news even if true. Craig's last film hasn't even been seen yet.

It?s funny for me that Tom hardy will be the next bond not in a bad way, seriously, first Layer Cake, now Rock n Rolla hahahaha maybe Idris Elba would had been next LOL

I like Hardy a whole lot, but I'm not sure about this. I wanted either Cavill (we could get the canon receeding Bond hairline too) or (preferably) Fassbender.

If I had my way I'd cast him at pretty much everything. But he's apparently left the movie business behind and is racing cars in Le Mans.

Now that's Bond Chad Big **** (true in this case; watch "Shame", great film too) Energy. It's just a shame he's either got the worst taste, or the worst casting agent, in the world. Sure, I even enjoyed The Counselor, but his filmography is pretty weak in general.

The last good thing he did was Macbeth, but that was in 2015. I don't get it. He didn't even do any good indies. There's Slow West that's recent, but that's it. Shame, really. I don't get it. Maybe he's just not interested in acting and was in it for the money. Apparently he always wanted to race cars, so maybe that's his thing. Travis Fimmel (Ragnar from Vikings) also just does movies/shows for money to expand his farm IIRC.

Hardy is very Bond-like in Inception. When I first saw him in that I thought he'd make a good Bond perhaps... but after years of seeing him in other rolls I'm not so sure anymore.

Fassbender, yeah. Won't happen. He might -- might -- play a villain at some point.

If the Hardy rumor has any truth or consideration to it, it seems that the Bond Producers wish to keep the Terminator Bond style alive rather than go back to a more smooth and sophisticated agent with biting wit and charm. I suppose you have to follow your audience. But I'm tired of the heavy-handed, humorless Jason Bourne Bond persona that works for Craig. I'd like to see a lighter touch, a sarcastic edge, and a more engaging Bond myself.

The problem with Hardy is that he's too gruff at this point. He doesn't have that aristocratic aura about him that Bond is supposed to have. Or that sociopathic, cold gaze. Hardy's more of the hardboiled, rough around the edges, "could burst at any moment" type. Maybe he can pull it off though, because he is a good actor.

Venomized Bond.

The kiddies in this section would eat it up!

What is better then that, you ask? Iron Bond!

What's the bet that at some point in the next 2 outings (not NTTD) that Q gives Bond some sort of Iron Man flying jetpack suit. :lol

I can hear them now -- sticky hands clapping -- He flies now, he flies now!!!

i can see hardy being a modern day Roger Moore, you guys should see his performance pre inception in Rock n Rolla and Layer Cake!!
