Njoah Unchained.
imagine if all of the variations actually were in the Bible. Thats all it would take.
Instant acceptance of the events without any further thought or questioning.
I'm looking forward to this more and more ....
no attack felt. I'm just not convinced the Bible has not been altered by man at some point throughout the ages. I believe* many events within the Bible are potentially man-made, but they are accepted incorrectly and people may be falling prey just how they were intended to.
I have a hard time believing God would take action to protect printed scripture while turning His back on women, children & babies being murdered raped and tortured. Thats just not how the God i believe* in would be.
If we have true free will, man altering scripture is within that free will.
I will say you're right, I probably should've left the off.
*now the word Believe. I always have in the back of my head a conversation I had with my father-in-law a couple years ago. He has spent the last 40yrs of his life studying every religion on the planet. He used to be a bad alcoholic and cleaned himself up and started a journey searching for "something". Some kind of sense to his life religiously, but went in very open-minded. We were discussing all religions in general after I had seen one of those blurbs on Facebook that said "Isn't it odd how no matter where you were born in the world, the religion you were taught as a child is perceived as the correct/real one?"
He simply replied ".. just remember that the word 'believe' basically means 'I don't know for sure, but this is what Im going with' "
I have a hard time believing God would take action to protect printed scripture while turning His back on women, children & babies being murdered raped and tortured."
Well then you probably simply don't believe that any suffering here is in reality a millisecond long and will be long forgotten over the billions upon billions of years of joy in eternity. And that is your right to make that choice.
According to the Bible God's Word is eternal, suffering (for the believer) is not.
