They should just go ahead and change the title to "Diablo the Movie". Hopkins already looks like Deckard.

imagine if all of the variations actually were in the Bible. Thats all it would take.
Instant acceptance of the events without any further thought or questioning. :lol

I'm looking forward to this more and more ....

You know, I have to address this. I'm not attacking you ok, but you're glossing over why we accept what's in the bible. We believe it's God's word so no, we don't force ourselves to question it with so called critical thought. It's my faith. I believe in the God of the bible and I don't question Him or His word. If that's laughable to you and millions of others I can live with that.

no attack felt. I'm just not convinced the Bible has not been altered by man at some point throughout the ages. I believe* many events within the Bible are potentially man-made, but they are accepted incorrectly and people may be falling prey just how they were intended to.

I have a hard time believing God would take action to protect printed scripture while turning His back on women, children & babies being murdered raped and tortured. Thats just not how the God i believe* in would be.
If we have true free will, man altering scripture is within that free will.

I will say you're right, I probably should've left the :lol off.

*now the word Believe. I always have in the back of my head a conversation I had with my father-in-law a couple years ago. He has spent the last 40yrs of his life studying every religion on the planet. He used to be a bad alcoholic and cleaned himself up and started a journey searching for "something". Some kind of sense to his life religiously, but went in very open-minded. We were discussing all religions in general after I had seen one of those blurbs on Facebook that said "Isn't it odd how no matter where you were born in the world, the religion you were taught as a child is perceived as the correct/real one?"
He simply replied ".. just remember that the word 'believe' basically means 'I don't know for sure, but this is what Im going with' "

First of all...there is no way that the Bible could of been written by Men on their own. Why? Because the Bible does not glorify Men,but glorifies our Creator

Man does NOT have a Free Will...How can Man have a FREE WILL when he is in Bondage and a Slave to Sin? He can't...Your Will is not free because you were born in Sin.Your Will is to serve Sin.

The only people to ever have "true free will" was Adam and Eve.Once sin entered in,Man became spiritually DEAD and Sinful.Adam passed down the curse of Sin down to everyone Born past, present and future.

I Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

The Bible teaches that man is totally Depraved and it takes the working spirit of God to quicken (wake up) a man spiritually to belief

Ephesians 2-1-5 "And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And this is why we NEED a Saviour in our Lord Jesus Christ...because we are spiritually dead, born in Sin and that Man needs a Redeemer for our Sin.

Well then you probably simply don't believe that any suffering here is in reality a millisecond long and will be long forgotten over the billions upon billions of years of joy in eternity. And that is your right to make that choice.

According to the Bible God's Word is eternal, suffering (for the believer) is not.

remember, if you're no longer interested in it, don't troll this thread.. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" .. :wink1:

And this, this right here, is why I have a problem with religion on a whole. I think it's a disgusting thing to say, regardless of your "belief's."

No one is going to feel the same way you are. And 98% of the time, they ain't gonna respect it. Hence why, I said what I said. :monkey4

Goddamn this thread to the fiery pits of hell.

I don't get why we can discuss religion on these boards but if you bring up politics the thread gets closed?
